Me and my family have been going to this McDonald's for years. Our orders have been incorrect several times and we just let it go. This time I wasn't letting it go. I was picking up food in the Drive-Thru. They asked if I wanted a receipt for my order and I said no. I didn't think I would need one. When I got to the window I asked the girl if everything was in the bag and she said yes. So I get home and give my parents the bag of food and they start eating. I ask where the rest of the order is and they say that's all there is. I was missing a double burger, strawberry pie and my order was wrong. All I wanted was a credit for the items I didn't get. I called the store and told them what happened. They put me on with the manager. He told me I must bring back the receipt and food. I told him I didn't get a receipt and my parents who had just eaten there that morning had already started eating. He told me there was nothing he could do for me. He got all snotty and started saying how do I even know you came to this McDonald's without a receipt. I told him he could look up the receipt. I told him what time I was there, what I ordered and what the total was I told him I asked the girl if everything was in the bag and she said yes. He basically called me a liar. What a disgrace of a manager. I've been managing my store for 9 years and would never speak to a customer like that. I don't know where you found this jerk but he just cost you some very good customers. This happened on Tuesday night around 715 on March 11. You need to get rid of this man. It doesn't say much about your employees also since this is definitely not the first incorrect order. You should give every customer a receipt automatically if you are going to mess up their order. There are plenty other a McDonald's around who would appreciate a...
Read moreIf i didnt have to give a star to give this review i say negative stars on customer service.. As im giving my order the order taker rudely interrupts me and says i can tell the other people handing out my order what ibwanted with my hot teas... The order taker was rude and the manager Martha even worse.. If not for a young lady named Rebecca id probly never come back. She was a regular crew person that applogized a million times for her managers behavior and her fellow co worker .. I work for a corperate store this is not how McDonalds should be represented... The manager says well you only get two honeys with your large hot tea.. Ok so charge me for what ever extra honeys i asjed for dnt tell me how i take my hot tea .. I would have paid for the extras i understand the rules .. But honestly i believe 3 honeys per large hot tea was not a horrible request .. It sickens me as a customer and as an employee of a corporate store that a manager with 20 plus yrs expirence would fall apart over 2 extra honeys when if i had gotten sugar i would have asked for 10 each and she would have been happy to give that to me because i ordered a hot lg coffee 10 and 10 as well. Managers are more concerned on tge cost of 2 extra honey packs then the poor customers service and would literally fight a customer then reprimand their employee for horriblee service...and all the manager could keep saying this is a franchise we do what we want.. Yes but your representation of the McDonalds name is not being upheld to contracts i know...
Read moreThis is the worst McDonald I have ever ordered from in the city of Chicago. The drive thru line is always at a stand still. Ask me how many times my breakfast bread is burnt or too hard. I choose this location because it’s the first onelocated between work and home, that I pass by. I try to give places a chance, but I have had it with this location. Today my son ordered the new glaze tenders they gave him the wrong item. I sent him back there to get the correct order the male manage tells him he has to pay $1.52 in cash to get the correct order. He had a cc and I have never heard of this. So, I went back and they tell me $1.52 I was waiting on them to tell me the same Bs about cash, but of course they didn’t. So, I received the “corrected”order and once I got home low and behold they charged me $1.52 to put the original chicken strips I returned in a glazed box and add sauce. I guess they thought I wouldn’t notice. I was so pissed. Called back up there female manager answers the phone and asked me to come back up there for the 4th time and she would correct the order. I will be making a call to 311 to report the incident. Get your act together and hire more crew so customers aren’t waiting upwards of 15 minutes in the drive thru. Needless to say I will NOT patronize this...
