Nicky's Restaurant & Pancake House — Restaurant in Lake Township

Went to eat here about 3 months ago food was good just like the dinners cooked in the 70s. Mmm but place looks run down looks like after the riots in the 60s they desided to leave the place the same. Never remodled. Thats wat looks cute. But i took a friend 2 eat after bragging and bragging about this place. First when we walked in a little boy like 9 rears old was serving are table and helping his mom da waitress. Dont think a 9 year old shoiuld b working. Are food was good but just b4 we finished are neal my friend screamed and shiwed me there was somekind of liquid floating up on her coffee i tried to calm her down. But honestly it looked like a booger hocker!! Someone spit in her coffee or it was something ftom dirty dish water. Anyway told da waitress she did nothing. Payed and ill never go again . Look into da bak kitchen its reall dirty. B carefull youl get sik. We dont k ow if it was rasist an accident or just being in a dirty place. Ut never tbe case...

My bestfriend raved about how good this place was! She talked about how her dad use to bring her throughout her childhood. I was extremely disappointed. Although the service was good & the food equal the manager on duty was far from pleasant. I found a HAIR in my food. Just as I was finishing up the meal, I moved my sausage patty to the side & there the hair laid! When I informed the waiter at first she said there was no hair, I then pointed the hair out. She treated me like a crazy person and said she would take only that plate off of my bill. The manager went back and forth with my friend about the bill. I do not know if hairs appear in their food often but they treated this health hazard as a minor incident. I heard this place has been around for years. I assume their loyal patrons may be...

My sandwich was good. But I had to pay over $10 and just ate that, When I came in I told them what I wanted on the menu it says the sandwiches come with fries and soup. Okay thats good for under $11 not bad at all. I was told the soup wasn't ready, I don't eat fries and I wasn't offered anything to substitute them. I asked was there a difference in the price since I wasn't even getting the soup and I didn't really want fries. After I was told with or without fries the sandwich will still cost the same. So I got the sandwich. Now the taste of the sandwich was good. But the thin piece of chicken I was given was disappointing and the chicken was cute up into like tenderloin pieces so when I took a bite a whole tender came put with my bite lol I was too threw, but the sandwich take was good.
