Pepe's Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Lake Township

This use to be one of my favorite locations but they fell off tremendously. First of all, when you order French Fries, their NOT fresh. They give you fries that were previously cooked so do yourself a favor and check before you leave the restaurant. Another complaint would be that the soft taco shells are smaller. I see these shells in the store now labeled as "Street Taco Shells" which is about the size of the palm of your hand. I won't be returning to this location ever again. Baby don’t go here for that taco beef deal. It’s a trick. Sat down and dined with my kids and felt like we were eating second hand food. The tacos served in the drive through tasted waaaaay better from when we dined in. Dine in tacos shell ends were hard and wet. The fiesta platter was a complete soggy mess. The chips taste and felt second hand used as if they weren’t tossed in the trash after the first customer had them. Be careful some Mexican spots do recycle appetizers...

Asked for and paid for toppings i didnt recieve then i sat in my car and began to eat my nachos. Ate one half and got to the other to find 2 complete hard shell tacos (steal might i add) instead of chips under the meat and cheese of my nachos and would notgive me a refund. She said she can add more chips and cheese. I had to come in store twice which messed up my meal. I love pepes i do but sometimes there practices and employees dont care about...
