Went through the drive thru today, asked for a Xl french vanilla hot coffee get to the window paid for my coffee took the lid off just to make sure it was french vanilla they gave me a black coffee same problem happened yesterday didn't complain yesterday at all. well today i went back through and told them at the speaker i ordered a french vanilla not black a woman responded and said i heard what you said you said french vanilla coffee not cappuccino i said im sorry i didn't know i had to say cappuccino i usually just say hot french vanilla coffee and never have a problem she stated that'll be 2.42 so i go to the window and said i know i said french vanilla which is not black and i am not going to drink this are you really going to make me pay for the coffee when i have already paid the rude woman stated i heard what you said you did not ask for the cappuccino as again i apologized and stated i didn't know i had to say cappuccino at the end usually people know what i am talking about i order it like that all the time since the bored just says French vanilla not french vanilla cappuccino hot coffee. Woman was getting angry very unprofessional i have worked in fast food before i understand how it is sometimes but one thing they always tell you when you are in training is the customer is always right. Even when they are wrong they are right. I asked for corporates number at first they told me to go to a website then a lady yelled out we are not a corporate franchise so i have no one to speak to about how rude one of there employees were who was mostly acting like i was the dumbest person on the planet. I asked to speak with the manager the manger was very professional she also explained to me that i didn't say cappuccino for the 50th time i understood her. I asked why would you make a customer pay for another coffee when im not even going to drink the black coffee so i just wasted my money. The woman who was rude was at the register in the drive thru and stated how about you just not come back okay i then told her she was unprofessional she then yelled im getting your money! I said thank you calmly the manager was professional towards me but did not ask her employee to step away or anything while the employee was yelling and being disrespectful she just stood there. I got my money and said thank you the employee repeatedly yelled and waved bye bye bye bye bye. Read moreUpdate: Corporate reached out and were courteous. They said they contacted the local manager, and I never heard anything else. We went back today to give them another shot. The new lady working the drive through window was very sweet, but the manager who I assume was training her was not kind. She was obviously learning and he was so condescending. One item was forgotten, but they met me at the door with it and apologized. Clearly the issue at this location is this one man.
I stopped going to this location for awhile because the service was so bad, but the last few times it has been great. Today was a different story. I placed a mobile order then sat in the drive through for about 20 minutes before I got to the window. At that point, they confirmed my order and STARTED making it. They were out of cinnamon for the HOT cinnamon sugar latte (the reason I went there) and offered to make a different flavor. Fine, I get it, I like hazelnut too. They handed me our wraps, someone else’s donuts (which we swapped), and then an iced chocolate looking coffee. I had one kid screaming and another that needed to use the bathroom at that point, so I took it and left. That was the worst coffee I’ve ever tasted. It tasted like chemicals. I dumped it and now that’s 30 minutes and $5.49 that I’ll never get back. Not sure if they were training new staff or were understaffed, or what, but we probably won’t be going back...
Read moreI have loved Tim Hortons since my first cup of coffee, I have ever had. I have spent alot of time in their drive thrus, and alot of my money! But I am no longer going to be using the bellefontaine OH location. They are Horrible!!!!!!! And I'm not the first to complain. I have nothing to say about this company right now except you need to step it up! I went inside to pay for a coffee because the drive thru wasn't excepting cards for almost three weeks now. They are constantly having issues with food and drink machines. So when I went In and told them i had a coffee I ordered and I needed to pay for it she just started yelling at me telling me she was busy and I'm going to have to wait she kept going on and on. At this poi t I'm looking at the other customers trying to figure out what did I say to her... two people let me in front of them and then this wonderful lady actually PAID FOR MY COFFEE! At this point all my friends knew me as the person who lived and breathed tim hortons bringing four cups of coffee a day, having it stocked in my house , constantly telling people about where the business came from and Now ...
