Vicario's Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Lake Township

I’m really not sure where to place this rating but after years of patronage, I’m just disappointed. So, I’m not sure what that star rating is, so we’ll stick with 2. The last three times we’ve been there the food and service has been underwhelming. On a Saturday night we thought to give it another shot and dine in. Sure, the tables were full but it wasn’t like people were coming in by the boatloads. We get seated. I get my water, he gets his soda and our guest gets his beer right away. It takes another 20 minutes to get our order taken. We get some appetizers, pizza, and another beer. We wait another 20 minutes just for the beer and when he walks up to the bar to ask for it we are told to wait because the server can’t serve it, even though she did the first one. When, what I assume is the manager drops off the beer she does it with an attitude. We say thank you and she doesn’t acknowledge. He had asked for orange juice with it and she roughly responded back they don’t have any would you want and orange slice? Yes, please. She comes back drops it on the table and walks off. Again, no acknowledgment of the thank you. Now to the food, no appetizers early, things kinda trickled in over the course of 5 minutes about 45 minutes into our seating. The nachos had cold cheese on it and we asked for it to be warmed up and after 15 minutes it came back with brown chips, our guest opted not to even finish the food. The pizza and Philly was GFS grade. I’m not trying to down anything but just disappointed in how service and food has downgraded over the last year. Our waitress was trying to get into the groove so she was fine and I hope she sticks it out. The manager needs to learn how to maintain customer service under stressful situations. Loved the old location Vicario’s was in, this one, not so much. Went twice and was not impressed, decided to give it another try last night. When we arrived there was one other table with guests that were done but hanging out, we placed our order. Food took a little while, that’s ok as we like our food hot and fresh. The cheese bread appetizer came out after 3 of the 4 meals were delivered, thought that was odd considering no other buisness going on inside, the bread wasn’t piping hot so not fresh out the oven. One of our party ordered fries which his sandwich, his sandwich came without them, when asked the server she said something about them coming, they came out about 10 minutes later. I ordered a small taco salad, the meat was cold ! I don’t mean mildly cold, I mean sitting out for 20 minutes cold. I asked the server about it, she said that dosent normally happen and did I want another made (nope I’m done by this time) I’m think to myself that I’m glad I ordered a small, nope, they gave me a large and still put it in the...

We had a large party. Our server did the best she could do she was new and we could tell. No one helped her at all . But after being there over 2 hours I got a pizza not cooked and was missing 3 other meals and when asked when our other food was coming ( kids meals and hamburger) she was told the manager orders needed done first .When we arrive no one was there. We asked how everyone else got here after us and orders was put in after ours but already finishing their food. We was told they are short staffed.

Tell me how 5 other groups of people came in after us . Orders put in after but they ALL had food but I would say only 25% of our order was done.

We cancelled our order and said we would paid for our drinks and the 1 of the appetizers that we got after being there over a 1 1/2 hrs . He did cancel the order completely and we didn’t have to pay
