We checked this place out Thursday night after eagerly awaiting the reopening/rebranding. The place looks great- everything is brand new, bright, and open, a sharp contrast from the previous interior. I love that they have a board now with the rotating taps. We were able to find some new brews to try! The best part of Avenue was the food. The menu is completely redone and everything sounds amazing. We ordered the French Dip and the fried chicken sandwich. Wow! The French dip is on garlic bread. Can I say amazing? The chicken sandwich was also great. The fries were fantastic with just the right of seasoning. I have to say the food was top notch and a huge improvement from the prior menu (which we loves, but it was what it was- bar food). This takes bar food to a new level. I can't wait to come again and try out some of the flatbreads!

What a change in atmosphere!! The old Waterhouse is now the Avenue Tap & Kitchen! Totally remodeled- the atmosphere is vibrant and modern. The bar is now unobstructed by beer taps and they have a slick bar top showing the history of Roscoe Village. The back bar area is now replaced with a pool table and arcade games to take you back to the 90s. The food!!! Ohhh the food! They kept their “best wings in the city” and added tons of new, elevated food options. Very tasty!!! The staff is attentive, personable and truly great people. Come out and see what the vibez are. There are plenty of TVs and all the sports you can ever want also! Welcome back to the neighborhood Avenue, continue being great!

Stopped in for dinner with some friends on Sunday night and all I can say is wow what a transformation! The space was gutted and completely remodeled with sleek modern touches. Lots of brand new TV’s and a pool table in back. The best part was the food menu, what an upgrade compared to the previous restaurant. Everyone in our group kept raving about their entrees. I got the French dip with a side of Brussel Sprouts which I would highly suggest. Service was great and we will definitely be back, what a great addition to the neighborhood.
