Brown Bag Seafood Co. — Restaurant in Lake View Township

This review is long overdue. I seriously went in here for the first time I honestly wish I had known this place sooner. I also love seafood and when my friend shared that she had an amazing experience in this spot and said that the food in here is so good then I decided to visit and find it out myself. Before the food I wanted to say that the place has a nice space with a pretty interior, it is clean and it has a casual and cozy atmosphere and vibe. The staff is super attentive and friendly. They have a lot of selection on their menu but my friend suggested that I should try their lobster roll first and so I did and I also added some fish and chips. I was so excited for the food and I was so glad that it was served quite fast. The lobster roll has a really nice portion and it is served with parmesan tots. The fish and chips have a nice portion as well. Honestly, I was so in love with their lobster roll. It is just delicious period. I mean the lobster is fresh and every bite just seriously melts in my mouth. I also like the tots and the fish and chips. They are all well-seasoned and tasty. Brown Bag, as a concept, is 10/10 incredible. I wish there were more locations across the country or just more fast casual high quality seafood restaurants.

Tons of healthy options (even some keto/diet specific options), seemingly very fresh seafood - I always go with the catch of the day and have been consistently impressed. Currently I’m eating a yummy catch of the day greens and grains bowl with garlic and herb sauce 🤤!

I highly recommend getting a sauce (I like garlic and herb but all are good) to put over your bowl, without it I’d say the bowls can be just a tiny bit bland depending on what all you get, with sauce it’s just incredible flavor!

Little piece of feedback for the kitchen - every once in a while the fish is slightly over cooked/dry. It’s hard to always cook fish perfectly but just a little nudge for improvement.
