The Green Lady — Restaurant in Lake View Township

This is a very casual bar and feels like a place for 'locals.' Difference being that this bar has great beer.

They will occasionally have exclusive events where they have a special beer on tap or have brewers in for an event. That was the case last summer when I attended a 5 Rabbit beer event. Two of the brewers were there for Q&A and they were featuring 5 Rabbit flights.

The bartender and space were fantastic with a wide variety of selections. We went during open mic night on a Tuesday, i had always thought that meant people go up there for a few songs but there was a person with a guitar playing and it was unfortunately very loud and went on for hours. If I lived in Chicago, this would be my go to drinking spot. Incredible beer list with a bunch of great stuff on draft. They’re a Malört bar so they go hard on everything Malört including an ever changing rotation of infusions. On my visit, I absolutely loved the Gumball infusion.
