Accosted by power tripping security:
Parked at the McDonald's parking lot, purchased an item from McDonald's (A large drink). Waiting for friend who lives across the street to join. When friend arrives with a suitcase to load in trunk security waltz up and yells "I did not just see you do that!" multiple times like it isn't intimidating and completely unclear and unhelpful. Security proceeds to ask where we came from and we immediately explained that we purchased an item from McDonald's and that we've been there for around 5 minutes, to which the security is either fully incompetent to comprehend -- or as we interpret it, choosing not to in his power trip, not listening and actively harassing us. We were literally on our way out -- hell, we could have shown him the drink if he wasn't actively keeping us there. Seriously, even if we didn't purchase an item (which we did), the parking lot was at 20 percent capacity at best. After a lot of back and forth, the security guard only lamented after finding out for himself (since he wasn't listening to us at all) that the driver had been in the parking lot the whole time and hadn't even left the vehicle.
I don't know why you hired this security, I've never seen him there before. But if you did, you are looking at a lawsuit on your hands in the future the way this man acts so belligerent to the customers for seemingly no apparent reason. Your location here has a SERIOUS issue with multiple staff not only not knowing how to de-escalate with customers, but actively being hostile towards them. I'm sure you've already gotten multiple complaints on the manager working graveyard. Last I saw she was rude and dismissive to a child looking to buy ice cream late at night with cash, which seriously angered his father, policy aside, there's absolutely no need for that. There is absolutely no need for the way your staff in this location...
Read moreOkay so food is good, it’s McDonald’s it should be. No problem! Now what is up with staff at this location blocking the bathrooms with garbage cans!!!! 10 A.M. lots of customers trying to get breakfast!!! Many older people, CTA, drivers construction guys you see what I’m saying. At least 10 PAYING CUSTOMERS need to use the bathrooms, can’t even wash our hands to eat!!! One staffer older Hispanic lady was asked can I use the bathroom to wash my hands. I hate to say it but it’s true-the lady acts like she don’t speak English. So I translate now she just has no answers and says “you have to ask at counter. PAYING CUSTOMER is allowed to use facilities she had to move 2 big garbage stations to enter bathroom!! She even put them back after. 9 other PAYING CUSTOMERS ask if they can use facilities, a male staffer says they are being cleaned. Big fat lie! I start telling another PAYING CUSTOMER that no one is cleaning them they are just blocked! Older gentleman goes in again having to move stuff to get by. Goes in comes out & thanks me for letting him know. Others still had to go, so the male staffer mentioned earlier lies again to an older woman who asked when will the bathrooms be ready for customers to use? He says I don’t know. He heard me telling people they were just blocked. So he locks both bathrooms and blocks them again! At least 4 PAYING CUSTOMERS walked out and didn’t get breakfast! I just don’t understand why! These employees should be ashamed of themselves. Deben de tener...
Read moreIf I could give 0 stars I would, Ive lived in this area and have been going to this McDonald’s for so many years, visited on 8/14/18 with a code in my app that the woman(portrayed herself as manager with no name tags on anyone I noticed), refused to take my phone because “she personally doesn’t touch peoples phones”, I asked if she could get someone else to take it, she said “no we don’t do that here”, then I asked her to take the code from my phone, her response was “no that would mean I have to take your phone over the front register where I took your order”, I ordered a medium fries and a sandwich (for 1$ through app) since she wasn’t trying to help I just paid 8.05 for a med fry and sandwich(no drink) and asked her if she just took my card all the way to the front register to swipe, she did, but at the same time refused to take my phone or the code from my phone. I guess she was upset because she wouldn’t take her eyes off me the whole 10min I waited for my order in drive thru. I visited again today 8/26/18 and verified with another employee who assured me ofcourse they can honor the code. This is the only time out of about 7 instances that I felt the need to really go out of my way and complain. I work in customer service and management and the unwillingness to help was ridiculous. I also tried contacting the supervisor on 3 different phone calls and a voicemail and got no...
