We recently had a decent-sized family brunch here on a Sunday morning, and I was afraid it was going to be packed, but we basically had the place to ourselves, which was great. The service was excellent and the place was not too noisy. I was surprised to find that they didn't have valet parking, but we did manage to get a spot right out front (only one Divvy bike was harmed). I went in eyeing the Smoked Salmon patter and that's exactly what I got and I was even happier when they told me I could get it was a plain bagel instead of an everything bagel. The salmon was good quality, just wish there had been more of it. We also got a couple of orders of beignets, which were delightful. Others got the Biscuits & Gravy, the Dutch-style Pancake and the Short Rib Hash and no one had any complaints. We also found out you can get the Breakfast Ramen gluten-free! All-in-all a lovely meal.

We hosted our wedding (ceremony and reception) at Tied House and I cannot recommend it enough! We wanted to host an intimate wedding with a dinner party feel, and the space was perfect for that. From contract execution to wedding day, Lauren and the events team took care of us and helped us execute our vision perfectly. The entire staff were so attentive to our guests the entire night, and everyone had nothing but wonderful things to say about the food, the drinks, and the space. If you are looking for a unique Chicago event space, I cannot recommend Tied House enough!

Incredibly unique experience in such an inviting atmosphere! As for the food, it was made with the utmost attention to detail and quality. Vegetable, land, and sea categories cover all the main groups, making it easy to make a selection based on personal taste. Very good wine selection that couldn't have paired better with the food and desserts. The service was what brought it all together, though. This place could've been a hotel considering that I found nothing but hospitality. I will be visiting again, as I can't wait to bring a group of my closest together.

I recently took my partner to Tied House for her birthday dinner and it was delightful. Would recommend.

The service was excellent, every part of it was good, and I appreciated small touches like changing our silverware out after appetizers to match what we'd ordered. The décor and ambiance are very clean and crisp, and we specifically noticed that the tableware was unobtrusive except for beautiful plates meant to compliment our main dish.

We split the whitefish dip and poutine and both were excellent, I wouldn't change a thing. She had the pork tenderloin and I had the mafaldine. Both were very well executed, every complete bite was perfect. We noticed that individual components of each dish didn't shine on their own, but that's a very minor nit to pick.

The only place that was just good were our drinks. We both enjoyed two cocktails, and they were all good, well-balanced, but not outstanding. No single taste note was the star, and the on-tap cocktails both felt like Summer drinks being served off-season. Again, good, would recommend, will eat again, just this was the weakest point in an otherwise excellent performance.

I would say price was good for the quality of the meal, it certainly felt like a deal, and we'll be going again...

3.5/5 Tied house is a decent restaurant. It is located in a great neighborhood. Parking was not difficult to find. The inside of the restaurant is stunning. Beautifully put together. I particularly enjoyed being able to access the next door venue without leaving the building.

The strongest point of the night was the service. Our server was delightful, attentive, and professional. My expectations were met and exceeded. Our food and drinks came in a perfect timely matter

But the most important part, the food, lacked. It was not bad but it was not great. Based on the price point, location, and service I had high expectations that were not met. Presentation lacked and overall taste was not there.

It is a new restaurant and the service won me over so I will be back. I am excited to see how they do...
