I want to give constructive criticism to help the business improve and share my opinion. So I love the actual bagels, the bagels themselves are great. The problem is that every time I order a bagel with cream cheese (this is not a one off- I’ve ordered about 10), there’s virtually no cream cheese on it and that kind of ruins it, while also kind of being a waste of money. Competitive bagel shops I go to always put a decent typical amount of cream cheese on, usually quite packed on actually. Today I ordered from you guys trying to give another chance by ordering it with extra cream cheese (which I shouldn’t have even had to do or be charged for, but thought I’d give it another go with you guys despite it because your bagels are pretty great) but there was once again like barely any cream cheese and I was most likely charged for “extra”. Honestly they shouldn’t even constitute as a cream cheese bagel. I won’t be doing business with you any further for these reasons. I hope management takes into consideration what I said because this restaurant totally has potential with tiny low effort...
Read moreI had been going here once or twice a week for the past 2/3 months. They have good coffee and great breakfast sandwiches. I order my food on Grubhub for pick up which has been very convenient. I order the same thing every time and I’ve interacted with enough employees that there is a basic recognition factor even in masks. A few weeks ago I asked for a cup to get some ice water and the gentleman working the counter sternly told me that I’d “better only get water!” I didn’t ask for a free cup of ice water. If he’d charged me a dollar I would not have been upset, I sort of expected to at least pay for the cup anyway but I found the lecture offensive. Today a different gentleman implied that I was planning on stealing a bottle of orange juice when I had gone nowhere near the fridge or even that part of the store. I have no clue where either of these accusations came from and frankly they were aggravating enough to keep me from patronizing this...

American: yes, very much on an American continent. Checks out.
Bagel: while technically not a bagel, this place's primary fare is bagel-based so I will definitely let that slide. Check.
Great: though the hardest to define, this may be the most accurate of the three terms. Everything from here is delicious from the specialty bagels and sandwiches to a good old fashioned bagel with cream cheese. Coffee is good too and the service is very friendly. They're always quick and the place is good for both sit down and to go. They also have big windows where you can watch them make bagels in the morning - they say it's great for the kids but I've found myself entranced on many occasions. Definitely great.
So Great American Bagel - delicious bagel shop that's very...
