Your staff doesn't listen to a damn thing that anyone says while they are ordering. I ordered a Number 1 with Cheese Large fries and Large Starry, exactly like that. They asked me all the questions that I already stated the answer to.... Do I want cheese, Do I want to make it the meal, What kind of drink do I want, then I have to remind them that it is large because Multiple times I get to the next window and the meal is medium. And that wouldn't be a huge deal but then they want to argue with me that I didn't order a large instead of just taking the difference in money to make it a large. I never asked for a handout and I am willing to pay for what I order, but that is not good enough for them. And When I stated 'argue' no one was ever disrespectful, but I would say, "it's supposed to be a Large", and they would respond and say, "they charged you for a medium" and then stare at me. When I asked if they could make it a large in the past, 1 time, I got a sigh and she shut the window and disappeared and came back and handed me the bag without another word, another time I got, sorry we can't do that, you would have to go around again and re-order (After I was already at the second window, because the first window already gave me my large drink) So it is less "arguing" and more passive aggressive to try and get me to go away rather than listening to me and giving me what I ordered.
The one time I got one of the 'Concrete' desserts I was handed a cup with no lid and the ice cream was sloppily coming over the top. I don't know what the person at the window thought I was going to do with that, but I'm driving a vehicle, alone....That was absurd to hand someone something like that. I won't even get the ice cream anymore because I had to ask her for a lid and she disappeared for 5 mins.... that ice cream started melting down the cup and into my cup holders..... no respect for the customer or the food is what I witnessed in that situation.
You switched to foil bags for the burgers. Your burger buns are not the type of buns that hold up well in those foil bags. The buns are good, just softer than other restaurants that use the bags. I live 11 minutes from this location and by the time I get home the buns are so wet that it's disgusting. I invite you to eat one of those burgers after it has been in a foil bag after 15 minutes. I'm sure switching to the burger bags is saving you money, but it is sacrificing the quality. Also, your staff doesn't know how to handle that bag because they put the burger in the bag standing on its side which makes the side of the burger EXTREMELY wet which is gross. And the contents of the burger and the burger itself are not lined up or not put together properly either. I don't know if your staff is just throwing the burgers in the bag and not caring how it goes in or if the way they handle the burger bag is what's causing it to come apart but it's obvious there is no respect for the food that you are charging me almost 10-15 dollars for. If you don't care about having respect for the food you are selling, why should I...
Read moreFreddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is a standout fast food restaurant that combines great flavors with exceptional service. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the staff, who were not only friendly but seemed genuinely enthusiastic about ensuring every guest had a great experience. Their positive attitude made the visit that much more enjoyable.
The food was fantastic! I tried one of their classic burgers, and it was delicious—juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. The thin, crispy edges of the steakburger were the perfect touch, adding a unique texture and flavor you don’t often find at other fast food spots. The fries were also a treat: thin, crispy, and seasoned just right, making them an ideal complement to the burger.
Of course, the highlight of the meal was the custard. It was creamy, rich, and perfectly sweet. I opted for a shake, and it was the perfect way to end the meal. Their frozen custard is definitely a must-try, whether you’re stopping by for dessert or making it the star of your visit.
Overall, Freddy’s is a fantastic place for fast food done right. With great food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere, it’s a spot I’d happily return to...
Read moreMy wife went here to grab some food real quick on the way to get our oldest kid from school. She placed an order online and wanted to grab the food in the drive thru to avoid having to go inside with our newborn. She asked the person working the drive thru if she could pick up her online order and was told no you have to come inside to the carry out area. Keep in mind there wasn’t anyone else in the drive thru when she got there and there’s tons of workers all around talking and not doing anything. She ended up going inside with the baby in one hand and trying to carry the food that was put in separate bags as well as a drink carrier with empty drink cups LOL. She said the ice machine was barely functioning and they were out of sweet tea. After all this she carefully held the baby, food, and drinks by herself and got in the car. This is some of the worst customer service I’ve ever heard of. The food was good but people will stop going if the customer service is this bad. There should also be some option for curbside besides just drive thru and going in to...
