Back Yard Burgers — Restaurant in Lakeland

Placed order in drive-thru, got to the window and the manager couldn't accept my card due to the register. So I waited there 5-7 mins trying to figure out what the problem was.. a lady came to the window and asked did I have another card, I told her that I would come in and give the replacement card. At this point more than 10 mins have gone by after my order was placed and now i'm inside and they still were having problems accepting the cards I gave. I asked could they enter it manually but the manager said no and the register wasn't accepting my card, there was nothing she could do #CAP. (I worked fast food before so i'm wondering why the order wasn't rung up on the front register if their drive thru register was having issues)... at this point I have been here almost 20 mins and I still don't have my food but I see it just waiting behind the counter. I then asked could they just ring it up on the front counter so I can leave, the manager sat and thought about it for a moment before proceeding to agree with me. The card went through but the food was cold and not prepared over due to my wait time. No straws, napkins,...

I stopped here and ordered the family feast and the person at the drive thru window clearly didn’t the good sense God gave her. I repeatedly had to tell her how I would like my burgers. The feast displayed on the menu screen showed that cobbler comes with the feast, I checked the bag and there is no cobbler, I asked the slow bunny employee where the cobbler is and she told me I had to tell her I wanted the cobbler, I was confused at this point because the menu is displayed to come with cobbler, why would I need to tell you that I wanted cobbler? I asked her if I could get the cobbler, she tells me no, it won’t be the same price 🤔. I’m really confused at this point, why wouldn’t it be the same price? People lack customer service skills and common sense. If this was a customer friendly restaurant this error would’ve been corrected, yet she didn’t ask me if I wanted the cobbler, but arguing with me because I didn’t know I had to ask for the cobbler, although it was displayed with the feast. Make it make sense. I lost a few brain cells dealing...

I went through the drive through at this BackYard Burger location. Got a double plain even though I ordered a number 1 combo. I had ordered another classic burger plain / meat and cheese only for my passenger also. There were flies in the cheese on both of our burgers. So gross. We threw them out and I almost puked as I was already eating when my cousin showed me the flies on his burger melted into the cheese when he went to put ketchup on his burger. I checked mine and of course there was a big fly stuck to the cheese. EWW!!! I ate here once a week when getting my car washed - never again. This backyard burger location is disgusting. What a horrible, traumatic and nasty experience. Flies go on dog poop..trash..and into...
