Prompt: hole in the wall restaurant in a slightly sketchy area. Answer: Pho Tan. Conclusion: an amazing place to go that should not be overlooked!!
Any true foodie knows that hole-in-the-wall restaurants that are super unassuming from the outside always turn out to have the best food. Pho Tan is a case in point. You’d never expect much from them just passing by, but that’s exactly where the mistake is made!

The steamed dumplings and spring rolls are on par too, and I am just so happy to have this little place nearby to frequent. It’s definitely a locally owned business so the service can be a little slow because there aren’t many workers. So don’t expect a quick trip but do remember it’s totally...
Read moreI ordered my food and payed for it. I was given the option to wait in the car or at a table. I sat in the car while patrons who came in after me were getting their orders. Frustrating that can happen. After about 4O minutes waiting the attendant came out with some of the food that I ordered and then said the food I ordered from the menu was for dine in and there would be an additional $10 for takeout. Wow. This was their manager pulling this stunt. Then the owner was called and would not honor fulfilling my order. The manager said I misunderstood and I said I simply ordered from your menu: it said nothing about a takeout surcharge. Then the manger said the employee made a mistake because she was new. I've eaten there over the past month and she was the waitress each time. Since I wouldn't pay the additional surcharge I gave back the food and asked for a refund:! They gave me cash for my credit charge but I do t trust this company: Very, very suspicious.

Read moreHello to everyone reading this review. I would like to say that this establishment feels like a spa with the music in the background i was at peace with my wonderful meal :) The water was amazing i drank 2 full cups and ate some of the ice 🧊 First let’s start with the pho! The pho tasted like it got cooked from grandma and grandpa with love and lots of flavor I slurped it so loud so others could hear how good it was (no shame). Secondly I absolutely do not eat vegetables i despise them but kudos to those that enjoy them. The fried rice was cooked perfectly to my taste buds the wonderful waitress remembered everything that i special requested and brought it out in such a timely manner! (FASTER THAN HITTING A DRIVE THRU) And to end it all the cooks in the back made just for me an appetizer just so that i Could taste it even though i was so full! Everything from start to finish was 10/10! I wish i lived here so I could eat it everyday! Please if you read this go to Pho Tan...
