Disappointed in food but more disappointed in the service!!!! I was approached by my server (young male) with, “Whatchu drinking’?” While not even fully walking up to the table,. I asked my server if they could heat my syrup up and my server asked another fellow server (younger blonde girl) and she responded, “No, they’re not gonna do that.” What happened to customer service going above and beyond to make someone happy and leaving them wanting to return? None of the servers really had any serving etiquette from my observation. Another female server was asking everyone if they wanted menus. No one should ever assume someone doesn’t need a menu whether they are a “regular” customer or not. I understand they may be more inexperienced servers but that’s where they need to be trained and taught to do a check back shortly after the food arrives. I ordered my eggs over medium well (tiny bit of runny yolk) they came out over easy. After eating the other items for about 5 minutes, the other server looked my way so I asked her for my server. He finally came over after she got his attention, so I told him of my issue with the eggs. My French toast was served cold and not how I asked for it to be cooked either. So when the next set of eggs came out they were brown (cooked too high) and over well. Terrible. Did my server bother to come check back with me and ask if the second set was better? No, he did not. If he is new to serving- he needs to be re-trained for sure. He was polite and said “ ma’am” but that was about it. In my opinion, I was very bothered and didn’t want to leave a tip because tips are earned when people receive good service not bare minimum. This was the worst experience I’ve had at any restaurant in a while, sadly, I will probably wait another 5 years to try them out again like last time. They dropped the ball. The only thing I was impressed with was the price, however, my meal was not good. I do not remember the potatoes being fried either, which I was quite disappointed by. I asked for butter not the oil spread on my toast and no butter was given or offered so I had to use the butter that came with my French toast. I hope the owner sees this. If I were an owner,

Read moreI’ll start with the good. When I finally got my food, it was very good. What you get for the cost is probably the best I have seen in years. Now to the problem, this has to be the absolute worst business motto I have ever seen in my life. I walked in at 11am with about 10 customers and sat right down. Ordered my drink and food and then 57 minutes later the food showed up after asking over and over again what’s taking so long. Mind you, I have been occupying this table the entire time preventing others from sitting and ordering their food. As I’m sitting there, the 1st table with about 8 people are seated. 10 minutes later, they get their food. Table behind me gets sitted, 5 mins later they get their food. This happens 2 more times in my 57 minutes of sitting there. Then a nice black gentleman was sitting at the table across from me for 20 mins, and not one server attempted to help him, and then had the audacity to ask this man to leave the table so they can sit another group that wasn’t even at the restaurant. (They happened to be white) The look on that man’s face of embarrassment is something I will never forget. I asked the man to sit with me but he was so embarrassed. I never was asked if I needed a refill so I had the same drink for 57 mins. No one brought me my check so I can pay. I go up to the counter and stand there for another 15 minutes. I had to ask, “how do I pay my bill?” And of course to top it off, cash only. I never carry cash but just happened to have a $20 on me. What I figured out after an hour and 25 minutes at this place is that if you don’t know the people that work there you’re not gonna get good service. Read moreI was in on October 19 after we ordered I noticed before our meal came. That you guys only took cash only. We were not told that from our server. The reason I noticed it was a sticker you had on the wall. My brother-in-law ordered a regular hamburger with nothing on it with coleslaw on top. of it.on the hamburger.well when we got our meals, there was no coleslaw and the lady looked at us and said well that’s because it’s on the side. And she got snobby about it. My brother-in-law explained who used to be a line cook for a lot of places that as early as we got there, there should be coleslaw already made.20 minutes later. The waitress comes back again, and my sister-in-law asked about the cold slaw.and she got snippy again. my brother-in-law explained that he can’t eat his hamburger without the coleslaw. So the next thing you know, we got two 20 ish year olds I assume.who are bringing the coleslaw. and the gentleman that I assume was the Cook came out and said sorry this has been sitting in the window for 15 minutes. I guess they didn’t see it. Well, how’s that our problem? and my brother-in-law says well I don’t want it.the hamburger is cold. We want to speak to the manager and the young lady goes I am the manager and the tall black young man says we don’t need to get an attitude.
