When I asked for less ice for my ice coffee they gave me too much ice. So, I asked the manager to get rid of the ice, she did just that. It's comical
She went back and brought back and empty cup and a spoon. In front of me, she scooped the ice out, one ice at a time from the ice coffee cup to the empty cup! I couldn't help it observe and kept quiet. I couldn't watch further so I told her to stop. She put the lights d back on and gave the now less than half full content back to me! How many xh does it cost McDonald to give me more coffee instead of bunch of ice?? How much more does it cost the fast food chain to top it back with more coffee once the person in charge, manager herself, empty out the ice???
Total shame when the manager of the store did such customer service. I guess they don't care about service. They couldn't care less if you comeback to the store. She will get paid regardless! If this is a corporate owned, corporate better do something. If this privately owned, owner better conduct mystery shopping to capture systemic issues...starting with the manager herself!
This store is in Lakeland FL, on US 98, close to I-4, next to Home Depot! Do easy to find and know who you are. I wouldn't want to go there again. But because I was at Home Depot I figured it would be faster. I ordered a Chicken McNugget meal, I specifically told them that I needed 3 different sauces because my daughter mixes them. Mind you, I told them at the speaker while placing my order. I get to the last window to pick up my food and they gave me one of each of the 3 sauces. I told them again that my daughter mixes her sauces, I have a lot of nuggets and need more sauce. The cashier started speaking in Spanish and yelling to the back of the store. So a manager comes up and says "we already gave you sauces if you need more you need to pay for them". Mind you I had already made it known what I needed while ordering. I asked her why it was such a problem getting sauces when I never have this issue at any other location. She again said "if you want sauces, pay for them". So I told her to make sure that I have my receipt because I wanted to take the survey, do a Google review, and call Corporate office." She said "Oh well call who you want but if you want sauces you will pay for them". I will never return to this location. I want to make it clear who this rude manager was. Read moreQuite possibly the rudest, laziest employees I've ever seen working in the service industry. Im pretty sure I was talking to a manager because if her blue and white shirt. They got my order wrong in the drive through -after repeating it back to me correctly, how the heck?!- at the 2nd window she immediately gave attitude like she hated her job and continuously stated "it's not on the order". She made no effort to remedy the situation or offer any solutions. I even offered to pay again for the item and she stated "I dont have a register here". She refused to make even the slightest effort to remedy as if she wasnt 10 feet from a register at the counter and could fix this easily. I was the only one offering solutions and none of the solutions involved her just giving away food. I was happy to pay. I didnt want to wait through the line for a mistake that wasnt mine. But she was so miserable with her job, I could tell she just wanted to share the hate. Her mannerisms, attitude, sloppy clothing, and utter disregard for customers were very clearly that of someone who should have stayed home today.
Whoever you are, if you read this, please quit. Seek different employment where you dont hate life because you are miserable to talk to and you provided the worst customer service I've ever had. And I set the bar low already for it being McDonald's. You somehow lowered it further. Thank...
