Oh my gawwd did I locate the best Jamaican place. 🤤 I was looking for a new place to try and Nyammins did not disappoint! I’ve tried different places around central Florida but there’s no doubt this is by far my favorite!

When you arrive you will be greeted by the sweetest of souls, Geovaughni. Since it was my first time there I went with his recommendation and he even gave me a sample to try before hand. He wanted to make sure I would enjoy every bit of my first meal with them. You can tell they put love into every bite and are passionate about their service. Everyone is so beautifully inviting, friendly, and it just feels like home.

I enjoyed the curry goat with rice & beans, Mac n cheese, cornbread, plantains (not pictured), and the pineapple & ginger drink. There was more than enough to bring home too! The portions are definitely shareable, as everything pictured is there smallest size (medium/half portion on menu). There’s so much flavor in every bite! Do not pass on the cornbread either. Trust me you’ll probably want two! It’s slightly sweet and goes wonderfully with this dish.

10/10 recommend this amazing place! Stop in, share a plate with a loved one or keep for left overs for later on. I can’t wait to go back and try something new! 🤤 Also parking is around back at the light on Martin Luther King Jr Ave! I already plan on stopping in again next week! Thank you...

First time going here and I was not disappointed. I've had jerk chicken at other spots before but went with the oxtail this time and WOW! I came at a perfect time, as they just brought out a fresh batch. Oxtail with the rice/beans and the cabbage. The order comes with those two side unless you want plain white rice or the greens instead. Added the plantains and a side of Mac and cheese along with a mango moss drink. Oxtail was cooked near perfect, meat was tender, packed with flavor. A generous serving for the meal as well. Rice and beans were also nicely seasoned. She asked if I wanted the gravy from the Oxtail and of course I said yes and she put a few scoops over the rice. Highly recommend. The cabbage was pretty good too. Not overly tangy or spicy. Plantains were as good as any other spot. Enjoyed the Mac and cheese too and the mango moss drink. The drink wasn't as ponent with the mango with a hint of sweetness....

As you park DE SMELL CLAP YOU LIKE YOU GOING TO SOMEONE HOUSE FI EAT!! Inside simple and decent not flashy just right for eating, but we not here to chat about ‘the ambience’ we are here for the food!!! I got the curry and goat and a jerk chicken (handoftaste) Goat is soft flavorful just the right amount of seasoning just the right level of pepper!! Jerk chicken same level of taste like if you up inna country a granny house fi Sunday dinner, white rice Shelly and nice , rice and peas well nice taste de spices and coconut milk !!! Oh yeah dem all so do Pattie’s had to get one to , their Pattie’s remind mi of high school patty from a local bakery!! Price just right and food well portions fill up your belly and go...
