Salem's Fresh Eats — Restaurant in Lakeland

So I waited 727266363 years for this place to open and finally went today with my wife n daughter after it opened last week. As a former gm of many restaurants I know how it can be with being brand new but must say I wasn’t. Really a fan of my experience As I arrived the drive through line was beyond ridiculous and I couldn’t even drive to get parking so who ever was the genius there to create that set up I don’t get. As I walked in it was packed and many people standing waiting for there orders 15-25 minutes. I orders ten gyro with shrimp it was mid at best the pita was so soggy n all I tasted was spice . The French fries had no crunch mush tasted as if they made big batches to keep up with demand but tasted like they were sitting under the lamp. I also ordered the scallops (fried) but all I really tasted was the breading the scallop was definitely non existent.i can keep going. Beverage station had no straws, no napkins, no lids, no ice at all. Managers looked overwhelmed and didn’t really have people set up for success and many tickets were in the red. Seemed the staff was understaffed. The one Spanish due manger with glasses was at least trying. My suggestion for success is making sure employees are cross trained and know there roll to perform. Set up stations for people to work. No one was bussing tables or cleaning tables. This place is to nice and new to be dirty. Please don’t be the Salems in the south side no bueno. Slow, w mediocre customer service. spent 25 min in the drive thru then they didnt know my order when i got to the window, they figured it out, hand me( bags everything on the top seemed correct) and 5 minutes down the road we realize theres no straws, milk shake almost melted by the time we get home (couldnt start drinking it child cant remove the lid to drink out of the side milkshake will spill) get home, empty the bags, no condiments or tarter after specifcally requesting them, my small portion of sweet potatos soggy and cold, missing order of scallops and mozzerella sticks completely, instead have strawberry cheese cake and gizzards? Got back in the car to head back, Called the restaurant, told them i really didnt want to wait that long again and just need my missing paid for items, so i am coming back up for the missing items could they please get them started now and ill Show the receipt and head out, lady talked to manager, manager said no you'll have to come back inside and reorder so they'll give it to you. Went back waited in line 20 min all over again. Told drive thru i was there for missing items told me to pull arrived to window, wait in line for window, when is my turn they don't know anything about the missing items, show receipt, told to pull around to spot by doors, pull around and wait more. This visit started at 3 30, at 5 I got tired of waiting and left, never got my...

We waited and waited for this location to open. We absolutely LOVE Salems...however this location is seriously lacking. Out of three times going here only ONE time has our order been correct. First time was AWESOME. Second time we waited in drive through for 20 minutes get home only to find out we have two gyros with NOTHING but meat. Well I always have said places have bad days. So tonight placed our order online hoping against hope it would be correct and ready when we got there...we were wrong...get there the kitchen is crashing...I'm talking CRASHING...instead of jumping in and getting orders out the male manager proceeds to yell at a female cook...the female manager was awesome...so get our food 50 min after order was placed...get home...super excited fresh Salem's oh ya...OH NO...once again we have 2 gyros with NOTHING but meat...thank goodness I had ordered 2 sides extra sauce...they put one of them in the order...at this point I think I'm just gonna go to Philly and wings and get a gyro....at least there they are quick CORRECT...
