My wife and daughter went to twistee treat tonight on 5/4/18 around 9pm. In which she spent about 25.00. She purchased a 32OZ chocolate milkshake,a banana split, strawberry cheesecake sundae,a turtle sundae, and a vanilla sundae with sprinkles of some sorts. I live 1.4 miles away from twistee treat according to Google maps. All of the desserts were melted upon returning back home. I recieve a chocolate shake that is melted with no straw. How do you drink a milkshake with no straw? The banana split had hair in it wrapped around the spoon(in which is put in the ice cream and not separately).Mind you my wife is 7 1/2 months pregnant and very dissatisfied with the items that were purchased, nonetheless the health aspects of the establishment. Are hair nets required? As long as the wait is to receive your ice creams/milkshakes or anything else. You would seriously think you would atleast have a descent dessert,or atleast something edible,or drinkable depending on what you ordered. I will not be purchasing from this establishment...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have to say, this ice cream shop is an absolute gemāeveryone needs to visit! The staff here are not only kind but genuinely wonderful people. Although we live in Tampa, we frequently make the drive just to enjoy their ice cream. While itās a chain, this particular location stands out with its incredibly authentic and delicious flavors.
Today, I had ice cream here around 1 PM, and at 6 PM, I received a call from them letting me know I had left my wallet behind. It was only then that I realized it was missing. I rushed back to pick it up and was so grateful they had gone to such lengths to keep it safe and track me down. When I tried to offer them a tip as a token of my appreciation, they refused, which brought me back to the beautiful feeling I had when I first came to the U.S. over 20 years ago.
This shop is truly exceptional, and the people here are just as amazing as their ice cream. Theyāve earned my highest praise, and I encourage everyone to show...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am absolutely livid! I am not usually one to complain much when I used to work in the food and beverage industry myself however.... Earlier this week I ordered a cuban on my lunch over the phone from a gentleman who, when I got there I noticed he was working by himself. And still did a great job. My cuban was so awesome that day I wanted it again tonight. I called to place me order where the girl could not even hear me or my husband over the phone because the one who were working there were blaring music on there phones so loud that I had to YELL to get her to hear me. And then my husband goes and pics up my cuban sandwich where he encountered approximately 20 people waiting ...where this time it is cold, soggy, and not pressed at all! I heard the girl I was speaking to ask them to turn there music down so she could hear me and they refused. When I worked in this industry I was not even allowed to play music nor be...
