Shaking Boba — Restaurant in Lakeville

what just happened. we ate at Pho 45 restaurant and bought sugarcane juice at shaking boba every week. today was like usual. my uncle is old and doesn't know much English. he saw an advertisement for buy 2 get 1 free. then he said he wanted to buy 2 order each order is 2 cups. automatically he will get 2 cups free right? . but after eating at the restaurant and ready to get sugarcane juice he only got 4 cups. the lady said he only ordered 4 cups so she only made 4 cups. The lady tell him. he had to say order 6 cups so he got 2 free cups. does that make sense guys. then he got an american woman to help him and she agreed to make 2 free cups but he didn't take it. Shaking boba just lost his weekly customer. Making sure you need to make things clear when ordered from them.

It was okay, but Boba & Tea down the road (by the Ole Piper inn off Cedar) is better. The bubble tea I had (taro with tapioca boba) was okay at best. It tasted more like actual tea (earl gray maybe?) than taro. Boba & Tea has way more delicious bubble teas, BUT, Shaking Boba definitely gets points for having more unique flavor options (strawberry matcha, purple yam (ube twist), etc), plus they have dessert options, which Boba & Tea doesn't have. Seating is also pretty scant, too, so don't come with a group and expect to have...

As an boba lover, it was super mid. The drink itself was very confusing, like i couldn’t tell what my drink was. There was weird stuff inside the drink i don’t know what it was. The drinks I got was not fully sealed and spilled. The service was somewhat alright, they changed my order after i ordered it though. I thought the inside interiors were actually pretty cute and nice. Honestly, thought the drinks were NOT that good and most likey will NOT come back.
