Lakeway's Speakeasy and Cigar Bar — Restaurant in Lakeway

For it being small, it’s very relaxing inside. The bartender is nice to talk to with her easy going personality. Every time I’ve been, customers know the next person walking in. Sometimes the cigars are running low but it didn’t bother me too much. It’s nice enough and cool inside to just ignore the sometimes low stock and grab whatever looks attractive. Drinks have always been pretty good and she makes them fast, always refilling our water glasses too. She’s also quick at supplying lighters and emptying ash trays...

We recently moved to Lakeway and were having dinner at The League and noticed a cigar bar in the same shopping center. After our meal we went and checked it out...really cool place. Apparently it had just re-opened. We met the new owner and manager and place is a great local bar that I'll be hanging out at quite a bit, especially with football season coming...they have a good TV set up. Was going to just buy a cigar to go and ended up staying all night and having a great time, I will...

Used to be a great place to go. Now it’s “temporarily” closed because new management can’t keep anyone employed. All they care about now are their “song download” gambling games. Don’t care anything about loyal customers who have been going there for years. In addition, they just closed without notice and many people have hundreds of dollars worth of cigars in lockers in the humidor that they can’t get to now. Very sad and...
