If you live in Lakewood Park—or hell, if you’re just someone who appreciates the sacred craft of barbecue—get yourself to American Smoke BBQ Company.
This isn’t some gimmicky food truck trying to jump on the trend. These people live and breathe smoke. They’ve turned meat into a religion, and the smoker is their church. I had the smoked pork sandwich with slaw, and let me tell you—it was one of the best I’ve ever had. No exaggeration, no fluff. Just slow-cooked, beautifully seasoned pork that melts when it hits your tongue. The slaw gives it that cold crunch, that tangy contrast, the kind of balance most places don’t even try for.
The portion? Just right. Enough to satisfy, not so much that you need a nap and a stretcher afterward.
You’ll find them in the parking lot of the thrift shop on Indrio, just off Kings Highway. It’s not fancy. It doesn’t need to be. The food does the talking.
If you haven’t been, fix that. Mark it down. Drive hungry....

Props to this small business for listening to what health conscious consumers want. MAHA!
Just to make sure have they switched over to tallow already or is it still...
