Liked this place up until tonight. My husband ordered pick up over the phone and asked for sauteed broccoli... 3 times because the guy couldn't understand him. We pick up our food get it home only to realize they gave us broccoli rabe... we then called to see if the situation could be remedied and at no time did they say they would come deliver us what we actually ordered. Instead I had to go BACK out, leaving my other food to get cold, and when I got there he had the regular broccoli, and I asked for my money back since I was inconvenienced and had to come back out to get it. The OWNER told me no and was yelling at me that if he gives me the food I don't get my money back... That would have been fine if THEY HAD DELIVERED IT TO ME, but since, after a long 12 hour day at work, I had to go back out to fix THEIR mistake I thought some beautiful customer service would have been at work. He finally said he would give me my money back if I gave him back the broccoli rabe, so I said, "You want it? It's in my car?" So I brought it back, after I heard him and his workers laugh at me as I left the store to go and get it, and when I brought it back in he refused to give my money back. Worst customer service I have ever seen! Do not eat here the owner doesn't support his loyal customers nor do they own up to their mistakes. I see from someone below my post that I am not the only one who has experienced the arrogance...
Read moreDisgusted at the horrific attitude I received from the supposed manager of Bacoli after my food was delivered to the wrong location. The manager initially lied saying he would be sending my food immediately and then after an hour more of it not being delivered, I called again only to find out it was never sent with a driver. I waited three hours before getting upset that I didn’t get my $30 tuna sandwich. The manager had the nerve to say I was only looking for free food and literally screamed at me after being a loyal customer for the past 11 years, regularly ordering multiple times a week. I even called back hoping to have a calm discussion with him and he wouldn’t let me speak. I will never be ordering from Bacoli again. There’s a way to talk to people and this manager made it clear that they do not value those who have always been supporters of their business. What reason would I have to ever order from there again? When you’re charging so much for food and delivery, of course people expect their food and not to be yelled at by an irate, immature man claiming his daddy will always take his side when you ask if there is another manager you could speak to. The plain pizza has just a bit to much cheese and is white instead of orange. Cheese lovers rejoice! But purists will be scrapping half the slice before folding. The specialty slices are still untouchable, being pretty much a full meal on a slice of pizza. The cheesesteak pizza is the best you will ever have. No one can even come close to competing. The sandwiches are very tasty, but have been shrinking over the years, while the price had been climbing. Later in the evening, it seems like half of the meat disappears from a full sub, and they are extremely busy at lunch, so if you have a highly specialized order you might want to let the picky people order separately.
