Bordeaux Review:

I don't often write reviews, but after tonight's experience, Bordeaux really stood out and deserves one.

Bordeaux is a great new addition to the kosher dining scene. We even got to bring our own bottle (a Bordeaux, of course), and our server was kind enough to provide a nice decanter with no corkage fee.

The appetizers were exceptional: creative, delicious, and beautifully presented, with good portions. My French Tartar was particularly creative and genuinely tasty. The atmosphere felt just right—warm and casually inviting, yet still elegant and professionally run. Chef Ben's involvement was a real highlight. He came out to meet our table several times and even assisted our waiter (who was great) in taking our order.

Chef Ben’s humble demeanor belies the high quality of his cuisine. The main course was just as impressive as the appetizers. I had the Duck à l'Orange. I tend to order duck whenever it's on a menu, and I've been lucky to try some amazing dishes from around the world; Bordeaux's Duck à l'Orange is - in my opinion - a heavy hitter. Many of us have tried some of the best the Kosher world has to offer, and we all feel Chef Ben’s dishes are extremely high caliber. I'm not sure if every night is like this, but they certainly nailed it tonight.

Exceptional desserts rounded off a meal several in our group described as one of the best they'd ever had. Chef Ben's personal touch and the consistently excellent food and service make Bordeaux a compelling place to visit.

After tonight, it's become my go-to restaurant in Lakewood, and potentially one of my favorites anywhere. That's quite an achievement for a new spot that's still waiting on its liquor license—I'm looking forward to the day I can actually order a Bordeaux… at Bordeaux.

Bordeaux Steakhouse is truly a top-tier dining destination! From the moment you step in, you're enveloped in an upscale ambiance perfect for special occasions or romantic evenings. Our host, Joel, was top-notch - attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic about the menu offerings. The service staff were equally impressive, ensuring every need was met with a smile. 🥂

The food? Absolutely phenomenal. We're particularly fond of their Hanger gnocchi dish, and the quality of their steaks is consistently exceptional. Each bite is a masterclass in flavor and technique. 😋

We went to Bordeaux in Lakewood last week to celebrate two family birthdays and it was INCREDIBLE! The service was extremely attentive throughout the meal and the food was sooo delicious. Afterwards, my wife thanked me for arranging it she was so impressed. Lakewood is so fortunate to have such a place. We traveled in to experience it. They have multiple specials that are brought out to the table and sliced and set on fire for entertainment. The entire room is entertained by each other’s food.
