Despina's Bakery — Restaurant in Lakewood

My first time visiting Despina's was a couple of Saturdays ago. I absolutely loved the family atmosphere. And for a few minutes, you are transported to Greece via this family-owned bakery. The owner is an absolute delight. The food was served deliciously hot. I tried the spinach pie (Spanakopita). It was very delicious and presented beautifully.

Despina’s Bakery at 11823 Detroit Ave. Lakewood, OH has been opened for two days. I have been there twice. I found the atmosphere to be clean, welcoming and colorful. Day 1: I ordered Spanakopita, Crustless Quiche with Feta and Spinach, Kourabiedes, and Galaktoboureko. ALL items were 5/5. Day 2: I stopped by for a late lunch. The Greek side salad was loaded with fresh greens, amazingly flavorful Greek red peppers, red onions and creamy feta with Greek dressing on the side. Update: I have now tried all their pastries and the lemon chicken soup, every single thing is flawless. Bought a sampler for my coworkers (costs as much as donuts but is so much better) it got annihilated! Despinas is a perfect hidden gem
