Green Mountain Beer Company — Restaurant in Lakewood

This is an enjoyable spot, tucked away in the corner of a strip mall. They have plenty of open seating, and an outdoor patio. It's a relaxed environment, not loud and boisterous like other brew houses. I have not been there in a night they have events so that may be different. The downside is they do not offer food, which goes hand in hand with good craft beer. That said, they do partner with food truck parked right out front. It's the luck of the draw that there will be a good option that you like though because there is no variety. For example it could be a burger truck, a wings truck, or tacos. Who knows, but if you're the kind of person that answers 'surprise me' when asked what you're hungry for, this place is ideal for you. It happens that Green Mountain is a sort of art gallery as well. Green Mountain Beer Company is a great local brewery. We have been enjoying their beer since they opened and enjoyed watching the growth the owners have instilled. Yesterday we hosted a coed baby shower( A baby is brewing) in the barrel room. (We have had two other family events in the barrel room). Our server, Stephanie, went above and beyond helping and making the event even more special to our family. At times we had over 30 people celebrating with us and Stephanie took it all in stride. She brought drinks to our friends, suggested new non alcohol drinks to those who weren’t sure what they wanted, helped us clean up and did it all with a smile. Thanks to Cassidy for getting us scheduled and the room set up and to Green Mountain Beer Company for making our neighborhood brewery a true member of the community. Best strawberry daiquiri's 🍓that come with a gummy lime wedge!! 🔥 wish I took pic! You just got to trust me on this one!! We showed up 2day to eat from J Street Food Truck & food was 🔥 too!! Had the carne asada fries, beef empanadas, & beer battered shrimp tacos!! My 2 fav's were asada fries & shrimp tacos!! Carne asada was served on top of masa battered waffle fries, jack, cheddar, & cotija cheese, cilantro lime crema & grilled onions. Beer battered shrimp tacos came with a flavorful crema and slaw that paired just right, served on small flour tortillas!! They also served us pickled serrano peppers that were sooo tasty & not too spicy!! At least not for my taste buds. Empanadas were nice n crisp, stuffed with good amount of shredded beef, topped with tasty guacamole, & cotija cheese.
