McDonald's — Restaurant in Lakewood

Usually i do my best to avoid getting fast food in Lakewood because nobody does a very good job; however, my cravings got the best of me today. I usually get my McDonald's in downtown tacoma because they do amazing, and i avoid the steilacoom blvd one at all costs. I was craving a hashbrown and decided to drive 10 to 15 mins to this location on custer, hoping they'll do better than the one closer to home. MAN OH MAN WAS I WRONG. I ordered a chicken nugget happy meal for my daughter, the nuggets were cold and starting to get stale. I ordered an ultimate chicken deluxe meal or whatever they're called and ended up with the version without lettuce and tomato (at least they added the bacon i wanted, but that doesnt make up for it), both the fries feom the happy meal and the adult meal were cold, probably hours old. The only thing warm was my breakfast sandwich i had gotten myself, but the egg didn't seem fully cooked. And the 2 hashbrowns i ordered were cold and soggy from sitting in grease. They weren't even busy when i ordered, so there's no reason fresh food couldnt have been made. There was only 1 car in front of me, and one behind. Never again will i get food from this location. I spent 20 dollars for TRASH food that should have been thrown out an hour before. Not letting my cravings get the best of me again, and this isn't the first time they've messed up my order or given me bad food; but it will...

You would think McDonald's is McDonald's but it's a long ways for that at this location. Order not right. Was in the drive thru so pulled forward and noticed I didn't get the 2 mcdoubles. My pitbull loves them. So I walked inside and told them and they treated me like I was lying to them and didn't give them to me and then asked if I wanted to order a couple. I said not a chance in hell and reached in my wallet and took 20$ and shoved it in the children's charity jar. Then looked at the manager and said yeah I was trying to get 2 - 1.00$ sandwiches for free and turned and walked out. Returning to my car now I have a mad pit bull because he didn't get his favorite. Guilty got to me so I drove to Lakewood McDonald's to get him his mcdouble's. When I pulled up to the window she noticed I was eating a big Mac and said to me you must have forgotten something. So I told the lady the story and then she bad mouthed that McDonald's because she knows the owner and then informed me that they charge more for everything there. So I looked at my charge for my mcdoubles and it was 1.99$ for the first and 1.00$ for the 2nd. So I pulled the receipt out the my trip to the other McDonald's and the mcdoubles were 2.59$ for the first one and 1.00$ for the 2nd one. I eat way to much fast food and never really pay attention to the breakdown of what each item costs but I bet...

I swear I've never had an order brought home that was correct. There's is ALWAYS something missing or wrong. We try to check before we leave, but we can't open every sandwich to check it's correct. We've just learned to make sure everything we ordered is at least there. We ordered a kids meal once, got home and her nuggets weren't even in there 😑 Tell a 3 year old that her favorite treat wasn't included! I just don't understand how hard it can be?! I understand mistakes have them. But it shouldn't happen every time you go and it shouldn't happen to everybody that tells me the same thing happens to them. What's going on with that? And then getting into the quality of the food is a whole other subject. I honestly think it's time to just give it up but unfortunately sometimes it can be the most convenient thing for us. I just wish they would get it right and make the food fresh like they used to. I can't even explain Sometimes some of the food quality that we have received absolutely terrible and disgusting. The more I type this the more I'm talking myself out of going again. The prices to eat there are not as cheap as it used to be and can add up quickly so to get home with your food realize some of its not there or some of its wrong or some of it is plain old unedible is just a waste of money and a huge...
