Muze Gastropub — Restaurant in Lakewood

If you want a cheap night, not spending any money, Muze is a fun place to hang out. Short staffed. No service. I waited to order food. By the time someone was available to help me, kitchen had closed 5 minutes prior to them getting to me. I had been waiting at the bar for 15 minutes. The time I was helped was 8:45pm. All I wanted was a pretzel.

Response to owner(also sent via email): Hello, Thank you for replying to my Google Review. I'm disappointed that the kitchen is advertised as closed at 9pm but orders were shut down before that time. I am sure that many of your customers work in industries that serve people. I am one of those people. I would never treat anyone that way. If someone is in need, not only am I required to help, I want to help a fellow human. I never clock out when it is quitting time because I am still helping people. I actually care. I think it is unfair that your kitchen stopped taking orders before 9pm. Change your advertisement to 8pm since your cooks quit early. I also work in an understaffed setting. I'm writing this review as I'm sitting here with my group. We had a 12 noon reservation. We sat for 25 minutes before we went to the bar to ask for menus and waters. They were out of menus, and we were told they only had one waiter in the whole section (two groups of 9, two of 7, one of 6, and one of 5). I understand if you're understaffed, but he stopped at several other tables multiple times before we had to wave him down. He said that the other tables were here before us so we had to wait. Finally, he took our order after telling us they were out of several of their limited menu. 30 minutes after we order, he comes back and tells us that they are out of one of the things we ordered.

We've been waiting an hour since ordering and only half our table has food. The drag show is amazing though so it's not too bad waiting. Most tables are just walking up to the bar for drinks instead of waiting for the waiter.

Final thoughts... if you know you have these shows every Sunday, then you should have planned better. But as annoying as the service was, the show made it...

I went to studio west/muze for the first time and have a great experience! I’m mad because I didn’t get any pictures to back up my review. This place is beautiful and such a nice large open restaurant with a stage for performances. We only went to Muze gastropub for the night but this place has A LOT inside of it and I can’t wait to go back to experience more! I ordered the garlic parm smoked wings and buffalo chicken pizza and both were 10/10!! DELICIOUS! The pizza was cooked to perfection the dough was honestly some of the best dough I’ve ever had. It was so soft and light but not crunchy or too heavy. The wings were Devine, omg phenomenal!!! 12 wings for $15 with that kind of quality it is well worth it to me!! My sister ordered the buffalo wings and said they were very good too and my friend ordered the Asian wings and those were also very good! She ordered the bbq chicken pizza and loved it as well!
