Raising Canes in Lakewood Ohio is new but a welcome alternative to Popeyes, KFC or Chickfila. Their chicken. Is always fresh and never has a bitter bad oil taste. However, if you do not like Chicken or are vegetarian, then this is not a restaurant for you as they only serve 'fried' chicken, texas toast, French fries, and Cole slaw. They also have a sweet tea and lemonade similar to Popeyes that is good but full of sugar. Portions are usually full [French fries are sometimes skimpy]. Tip: substitute coleslaw, French fries, or toast for extra serving of toast, fries, or slaw. Service is quick with two drive thru lanes. However, with the small parking lot, this is their downside, as traffic comes in and out of the lot. This location does not have room in the lot for 2 lines of parked cars and two lanes of drive thru. At peak times there is not room to pull out and it can take a dine in customer 10 minutes to get out of the lot as the restaurant has not come up with a drive thru employee [or cones] to keep traffic flowing or uncongested. We love the ketsup packets that they offer with the french fries. However, we are not a fan of the canes sauce and prefer ranch which canes does not have. If you get a soft drink be aware that the lids on the drinks do not fit well and will spill all over the place if you are not careful :( Music inside could also be toned down as well as at peak times it is definitely loud between voices and music. Overall, so far, it's a great fast food chicken restaurant and we look forward to other locations opening in the area for greater eating...

Had to have had one of the worst experiences I've ever had at lunch, when the line was short of all times. Get two caniac combos. They pulled me forward which was weird as it is, but also requires going around the building and back out onto the street making a left onto a busy street that frankly you shouldn't be asking your customers to do, I'm sorry you didn't account for it in your design but it's dangerous. I then watched 4-5 cars go through as I waited for my food. Had my girlfriend run in to check what was going on, she just sees my food sitting there. She asked the employee if that was our order but was ignored. It was indeed our order because a minute later she blows by her and brings it to me. Then we get to our picnic lunch late because all that only to find ants in our drinks. Frankly I hold Canes to a standard higher that normal fast food, but they can't even hit fast food standard at this point. This place went...
Read moreDrove across town to try this place. Went inside to order just for the experience it was very clear you can't eat inside with every table having a sign that says you can't eat there. Which was fine. After ordering I was walking around the restaurant reading all the local memorabilia hanging on the walls. This is when one of the employees started to harass me and my family. While reading this very large female employee walks right to the table I'm reading a picture at and sits in front of me. Not even respecting the current six foot pandemic mandate. It's fine there other cool photos on the walls. I walk over to another with my wife and this employee starts yelling at us not to sit down. We weren't going to. So our food was made very fast and was ready to go as expected. We go sit down and eat on the patio. After eating this employee followed us to our car and stared at us as we left. Very unprofessional and I don't recommend this location due to the terrible...
