I am SO GLAD we found this place. Came with our best friends and it turns out, she knows the owner, who was very happy to see her! We started with Lassi's which were delicious, also chai tea and hot coffee. We then proceeded to order close to half the menu and had an absolutely fantastic feast. This place has an enormous selection vegetarian options as well as anything meat lovers would appreciate, with that classic Indian flavour any fan of traditional Indian quisine seeks. Spice level ranges from 1-10 and we arent shy about heat so 8 was great. I will probably try 10 next time. We are all stuffed AND we had leftovers to take home. Vintage India deserves 10 stars and we will be back soon and often. We finished our trip by sharing a rasmalai for dessert, also 10/10.

Loved it! The server was very helpful with suggestions on what to get and what kind of spice level we should start with. We started out with the appetizer Chicken 65, which was basically popcorn chicken. It came with two sauces - one sweet and one spicy. Then we shared two entrees, as well, and got two kinds of Naan - the Chicken Curry and Chicken Korma, and the Garlic Naan and Bullet Naan. The server suggested a spice level of 3, which seemed low but turned out to be perfect! I'm not a huge spice guy, but my friend is, and she seemed pretty content with the level. The curry came with rice, as well. All in all, a spicy, delicious, and rather oily meal. Definitely recommend!

If this is what Indian cuisine is supposed to be, I owe my stomach an apology and my tastebuds trauma counseling. Avoid like it’s the last meal at a sketchy buffet. One of the worst restaurants in my lifetime I ever visited. And the gratuity was 18% for 4 people and I really was confused listening to that who charges gratuity just for 4 people. Gratuity has to be charged when there are group of 6 or more than that i really don’t know with what concept the owner is trying to fool. On the whole it was really a bad experience but we can just visit the place if someone wants really good pictures. Just for snaps is fine.

I've been coming here regularly for about a year so I was surprised to see that I hadn't given my favorite restaurant in Lakewood a review yet. There are good options in town for good Indian food but in my opinion Vintage India is by far and away the best.

The atmosphere is somewhat bare, but cozy. The staff are great. Very kind, attentive and polite. The food is fantastic as previously mentioned and reasonably priced as well considering the amount of food you get with an entree.

I've sampled a few different things, the butter chicken is very good, Tandoori Chicken is great but at some point I found myself only ordering the Chicken Tikka Masala every time I go. Fantastic dish, full of flavor and spiced to your preference.

A disclaimer for anyone adverse to spicy food, order your spice level fairly low. For myself I am a lover of all things spicy so I tend to go for a 9 or 10/10 on the spice level.

Finally, the Naan is fantastic. Garlic Naan, bullet Naan, you really can't go wrong. I honestly cannot speak more highly of this place, if you haven't been, you're...

Food tastes excellent. Service is average. Waiter should not just serve the food but pour water in the glass and not just leave the pitcher on the table. Waiter should visit couple times while patron is eating and ask if anything needed. The prices in general are little high compared to other similar Indian restaurants. Just for a plate of onions they charge $4.95 which is not reasonable compared to the price of samosas at their restaurant that costs $4.95. Samosas require lot of work to make as opposed to cutting a plate of onions. Most of the Indian restaurants in Cleveland don’t even charge for onions with the entre. Overall recommend the restaurant.

I don’t think you have taken our feedback positively especially by accusing us wrongly. We just gave you feedback based on our experience and thoughts. We don’t want anything free but pay something reasonable. Anyway it is your business and you may run the way you want. That’s fine. Also, I don’t want anything free...

My son and I had lunch there. Very unassuming place. In fact, there is nothing on the walls at all. They might look into getting some decor. However, the focus is on the food, which is great. The fried cauliflower app was quite good, and sets your lips up with a nice tingle. The potato app (sorry, I don't remember the Indian names!) was also excellent, smothered in several different sauces. The lamb Rogan Josh was dark and hearty, but the Lamb Korma with a creamier sauce was even better. Garlic naan was great. As others have noted, their heat scale is hotter than others. I ordered a 6 while my son got a 7. We both were sweating a bit, and needed the paper napkins provided in advance by our waiter to wipe our eyes and blow our noses. The Salty Lassi ordered by my son apparently was the magic potion to stop the heat. Service was very attentive and friendly. My only negative is that the lamb could have been simmered a bit more to make it more tender. Other than that, a...
