Hear ye, hear ye! On this day, I didst venture into the hallowed halls of Slammin’ Chicken, a humble yet heartily heralded establishment, where the fowl is fried and the spirits soar.
Upon entry, I was greeted not by trumpet nor bard, but by a noble servant of hospitality — one Elliott by name — whose cheer did rival the sun at high noon. Verily, his manner was kind, his wit quick, and his service swift as a falcon on the hunt. A more gallant steward of the dining arts thou shalt not find.
As for the fare — good chicken, sayeth their banner, and by my honour, they speak no falsehood. The bird was crispèd to golden perfection, seasoned as though kissed by the gods of salt and spice. Each bite did summon forth visions of medieval feasts in great halls, where knights and ladies broke bread 'round roaring hearths. The portions were generous, enough to satisfy even the hungriest of squires.
The flagons of drink were filled to the brim, and the sauces flowed like mead at a midsummer revel.
In sooth, Slammin’ Chicken is no mere tavern — 'tis a sanctuary for the soul and the stomach alike. And should thy path cross with young Elliott, give thanks to the heavens, for thou art in the care of a true champion of customer delight.

Read moreSo I live relatively close to this restaurant and I had seen it multiple times in passing. Today I decided to give it a chance I read some reviews to get a grasp of the style of food and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant and they were overwhelmingly positive. This restaurant did not disappoint him at all. I am a spice queen so I got their spicy chicken extra hot and it came with coleslaw on the top which I normally don’t do coleslaw but I think it blended with the flavor exceptionally. The heat was right on point could’ve been a touch spicier for me but after meeting and talking with the manager Caleb that can be done next time. So I implore anyone interested in exceptional food and spice to support this local mom and Pop restaurant. I could not employer this restaurant any greater but I also had their fried pickles and those were exceptionally well done and I had not had fried pickles in a little while. Given my talk with the manager Caleb I definitely next time will request the Carolina reaper powder on my spicy chicken sandwich as well as the fried pickles to give them that extra boost of heat. Also I am for you if you’re thinking of going to Chick-fil-A, raising canes, or churches in my opinion this place is far superior to all of those aforementioned fast food...

Stumbled upon this incredible mom-and-pop chicken shop and I’m so glad I did. The wings were hands-down some of the best, coated in a rich, flavorful Korean BBQ sauce with just the right balance of sweet, smoky, and tangy. What really set them apart though? That perfect crispiness on the outside while staying juicy on the inside. Absolute perfection.
The fries had that golden crunch that you dream about—crispy, hot, and seasoned just right. And the Nashville hot chicken sandwich? Unreal. The chicken was thick, juicy, and packed a solid kick. Spicy enough to wake you up, but not so hot that you can’t enjoy every bite. What I wish I would have know. Is that you can add extra pickles! Also I wouldn’t have expected Boba, the mango was amazing!
The cherry on top was the amazing customer service. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming—it felt like walking into a friend’s kitchen. You could tell they cared about both their food and their customers.
Pricing is exactly what you'd expect for quality food like this—fair and totally worth it for the portions.
Highly recommend if you're craving bold flavor, crispy texture, and good...
