Subway — Restaurant in Lakewood

This was the worst experience we’ve ever had at this Subway, or any for that matter. First, the guy who began making our order did not speak english whatsoever. That would’ve been fine, but he was the only one there at the time and couldn’t understand anything we said. My husband tried to tell him what we wanted and he kept pointing to the numbers on the menu for him to choose from, which isn’t what we wanted. He was only putting the meats on the edge of the sandwich and was only putting 2-3 pieces on it. Then when my husband asked for more, because that’s obviously not how much they usually put on it, he started putting all of the stuff down the middle of the sandwich. He also answered a phone call on his phone while in the middle of this, and did not change his gloves. Finally another girl showed up, and was trying to tell him what to do but it didn’t seem like she knew what she was doing either. He continued making the sandwiches, and then when he was done he tried to roll the sandwiches up to wrap them. Like psychically wrapping the sandwich, not the wrapper. Wack. Asked the staff to make a chicken wrap just how it's recommended (or at least what the picture shows). They were clueless, didn't even try to replicate,and just told me that they don't know how to do that and that I should make it how I want...so I told them again that I wanted it how the picture looked and they didn't even attempt.

So I began to tell them what I wanted based on what the picture shows...they gave me the finished wrap and the chicken was mad bland, unseasoned and chewy.

At 1am, it was a perfect place to go for my craving. The employee was courteous, and answered questions I had about ingredients on newer sandwiches, as well as, show me the specials being offered for the current day. The value was less expensive, than if I were to go to a store and find everything I had on my sandwich. The menu has more than just sandwich options.
