Im a hispanic woman with a 11yr special needs child. On 12/3, around 5:15, we stopped at this location BC it was closest to us, 1st time here. there was two gentleman waiting two employees, both females. The mailman & I started having a pleasant conversation & laughing because we both had coupons. The other man with a yellow t-shirt laughed too and said a word or two (the two men are white). The employees treated this gentleman with no issue. The two women working seemed annoyed. the older female aprotched, saying, "Next NEXT!" I "Responded oh sorry hi how are you"-older female:"What do you want!"I explained we wanted to build our own sub, I didn't want any of the subs on the menu (everytime we get Subway it's not one off the menue) I said I'd like two foot longs & before i could say the kind of bread she talked over me and said with an attitude "what bread) Trying to teach my son social skills I asked him to order his own.-son said: "Can I please have an Italian bread foot long with chicken brest?"-older femail: "we don't have chicken brest, choose another." -son: "What kind of chicken do you have?-older female: (points at the menue)-I explain we only add three ingredients we don't want anything from the menu. - older female: (frustrated huffs)"You have to pick one off those As I discussed with my son, the best choice, I glanced toward the older female, she was rolling her eyes & seemed impatient.- older female: (with the meanest look) said"What do you want?"the other younger female on the register was charging the customer with a bright yellow T-shirt. We ended up choosing the elite chicken at this time I noticed the tension I really just wanted to leave, but my son really wanted a sub. Older female started making the sub added the chicken & the bacon, I double-checked with my son if he wanted the bacon he Shook head I could tell he was uncomfortable.I said,"Can you please remove the bacon, we don't want it" -older female: slmas the bacon on the table ( looks me in my eyes & Squinted a little her voice got louder). What do you want then! I said: "instead can you please add turkey?"-older female: (with an attitude) You know that is extra cost? -I responded: yes, I know it is extra, is Ok I'm adding extras (I halfway smiled, hoping it would release the tension a little) The gentleman with the yellow shirt was leaving he looked back because he could hear everything. There weren't any other customers after me. older female: What else?Me: American cheese, and that's it. Older female: she snaped, " That is also extra!"I snapped back: " You already told me it is an additional fee for extra, I've been knowing," Older female: As she was slamming the cheese on the sub, she said. You know what? If you don't stop your little attitude, you're gonna have to leave! Me: Ma'am I'd be nothing but polite to you, you have been rude this entire time and all I said whas that I know it's extra I will pay the extra fee. The cashier female: You know she has to say that every single time Me: I understand, but I did tell her I would be adding extras, and it ok for the extra fees as I was saying we are getting 2 subs exactly the same. The older female inturopted me, screaming at us me saying get out both of you leave! As she was putting the three ingredients back to where she got them and also the bread My son was started walking towards the door I said we are not leaving you are being extremely rude and they kept talking over me.Leave or we're gonna call the cops We are not going to sell you anything so Just leave They walked I walked towards i the lobby my son was so scared he said let's just leave I asked him to waite outside that I whanted to waite for the officers, they keped getting near me & screamin I told her i'm just looking at the menu (trying to see if there is no option to built your own sub a phone number) They continue threatened me. asked for payper & pen noticed they had no name tag. Asked for names I think casheer said Caroline & I'm the manager! They continue to harass me as I was...
Read moreThis is usually my favorite subway to order out or dine in. Unfortunately this time I arrived at 9:25pm and the 1st words out of my mouth "I apologize for coming in so late" The "assistant manager " ( that is what he called him self) just turned his head and continued wiping down the counters, however an older lady with long hair (neither one of them were wearing hairnets and they both have long hair) steps from the back of the store, to begin working on my order I ask if I can use the coupons I have? Long story short, they're both very Hasty and extremely rude so I say well thank God for having a job not everybody's blessed with the job you know the young man says to me we're not going to serve you tonight I said excuse me he said yeah we're not going to excuse or serve you and I said why is that and he goes because I don't like what you just said so I said no you're going to help me and he said no we're not he tells me f you begins to cuss at me I asked him for the manager's name and the owner's name he said I am the assistant manager of course he never gives me his name because obviously he's disrespectful and rude. Needless to say I will never return back to that location and it's very unfortunate because this is our go-to place we order from that location at least four...
Read morePlace is utterly disaster. I put an online order in for my family. Its done on time, or so I thought. When I arrive home and check my order I only have half of my sandwich. My wife tries calling but after not being able to figure out my name, which is James, and we have absolutely no reason for it to be misunderstood for anything else, she headed over to get the food corrected. I'm assuming the manager on duty doesn't even apologize, just tells us, you get what you pay for, and proceeded to just make another 6inch sub to complete the meal and that was it. No sorry for the inconvenience, nothing. Doesn't offer a cookie, a bag of chips, not a discount. Just, you get what you pay for... plus a double trip to get your own order correct in the first place. Avoid this place at all costs. It's even worse if you order in person, expect to wait. Even if the lobby is empty. They're lucky my grandmother likes the food here, and they're the closest to my house, but I'm going to be commuting the the location near Belmar shopping center. I've yet to have the problems like I've had at this location at that one. Thanks...
