Fleischer Family Farm — Attraction in Lakewood

This is an amazing urban farm in the heart of Lakewood. During the summer months, they run the best farm/produce stand I have ever experienced. It’s worth coming by for just the produce stand! The produce is MUCH better than anything at Whole Foods, Soopers, or Sprouts.

They also offer classes in urban farming, canning, and other urban agriculture subjects. The owner does personal consultations at your house if you need some help with your backyard farm. Good food good people. During the warm months they have a farm stand on Saturdays where they stock tons of fresh produce, most of which is grown right there! They also have a CSA which gives weekly shares of their goods. The Fleischer family is super friendly and welcoming. Their goal is to engage the community in support of good fresh food. Feel free to bring your young kids to the farm to say hello to their chickens or show them how food grows.
