They don't seem to use the same recipies as other Taco Times in the greater Seattle area. It appears that they don't put cheese on the pinto bean soft taco. I've gone in and asked for my money back, I tried it again, and have stopped visiting this location. I order extra cheese on it ever time at every location I go to. This location charges $.69 for add cheese instead of $.23 for heavy cheese and adds one pinch of cheese. I don't think they realize that it comes with cheese and when I order extra it should be more. I go through the drive thru so after a couple times I turned around and went in. I told the guy at the counter and the woman who made the food came out and indicated they were trying to be accurate with proportions. I opened the taco for her tk show her how little cheese was there and explained that I get the same thing at 6 different locations. She had an attitude about it which was disappointing bc I was being polite. She just said she could give me my money back. I didn't go back for about 2 years, which is hard bc it's the closest location to my work. Some locations charge the higher price but I always order and get extra cheese.

Taco time is always good while it's expensive you know your getting a good healthy choice for lunch or dinner. This place is very nice clean and it's always busy but I have never had a problem eating here and the staff is always friendly. If you had a choice of what taco times to eat at in Washington I would say this is one of the better ones.

Ordered a 🌮 salad expecting it to be in a shell came on a card board plate instead. Guess there two types of salads there. Had to pay extra for shells Ok place but not impressed with that particular Taco Time

Wanted quick and reliable dinner that the whole family likes, Taco Time is usually a go-to.

Got to the drive thru, the young lady Cadence (Jasper) on the speaker was distracted and kept repeating the same basic questions. After a painfully slow order she just dropped off awkwardly and I figured she was attending to the party that was going on in the background. I waited for her to return to the speaker for about a minute while everybody in the car stared at eachother, wondering if we were getting punked. I said hello and she jumped back on the speaker and informed me she was waiting for me to come around to the window, but she hadn’t read back the order or confirmed any totals. If I wasn’t an experienced customer service professional I might have been very confused, which I’m pretty sure that was her intention. Got to the window, paid cash exact change and she asked me if I wanted any sauce. I sad 3 hot sauce and 3 ranch, to which she replies ā€œyou’re about 2 dollars short.ā€ I asked what changed and she informed me ranch is $0.60 a piece. I laughed and told her to keep ā€˜em. I was annoyed and drove off, and noticed she forgot all of our drinks. By this time I was entering the 512 freeway and had no easy way to turn around.

My wife called the number on the receipt and some genius named Melinda answered. Same story, party going on in the back and she kept repeating dumb questions. She repeated the same question so many times my wife raised her voice, then Melinda morphed into final boss mode Karen and attempted to tell my wife not to yell at her. If Melinda is some kind of management, your people have hired poorly.

Cut 2, we got off the freeway and circled around by 112th and arrived at the front door of the lobby at 8:20pm. All doors locked. Sign on the door and google stated lobby is open until 9:30pm. 3 sloppy women in various shades of liberal hair color hollered at me that the lobby was closed. I advised we were the ones that called and they forgot our sodas. The women motioned for me to go around the drive thru — and right as I began looking for a large rock to gain access to the lobby, a dude shows up at the door to ask what I wanted. I advised I’m going to need those sodas. He seemed to know exactly what I was talking about and asked me to pull up to the west facing door.

I pulled around and parked in the customer pick up space, and stood by the door. Some rando bum walks up and attempts to hustle me for cash, then walks over to the dumpster and just kicks it. No big deal this has been the worst interaction I’ve ever had at taco time, why would Golem waiting around for his precious make it worse? Anyway back to the dude with the sodas it’s been 5 full minutes at this point with these rubber necking zelennials and their Karen step mom hiding behind the sticker on the door kept checking to see if I was still there.

Long story short. I like taco time food, but the Lakewood location will never get another dollar of mine. Cadence is incompetent at best, Melinda has no skill at actually leading a team, and if she disrespects my wife like that again your company is going to be spending some serious loot on defense counsel.

This experience is a shining example of why $20/hour wages for fast food workers is a total joke for unskilled labor. I hope you entitled clowns all get replaced by robots,...

Today I really was craving some taco time. As a former employee of Taco Time I am aware of what standards the food and treatment of their guests is held at. Anyway back to my visit. I go with my boyfriend and he proceeds to order a chicken soft burrito (which entails chicken, cheese, and burrito sauce) and I got a mini chicken soft taco meal. Which totals about $14 roughly. The cashier who took our order was a young man he was pleasant, easy to talk to, and ready to help next in line. When we recieved our food; my soft taco was wrapped incorrectly so my boyfriend ate it thinking it was his. Ordinarily I would have just ate the soft burrito, however I am allergic to something in the sauce. So I asked the young man if my soft taco could be remade. He asked the lady on the rail. She said she would need the burrito to throw it away then she can make me a new taco. Well, hold up. Why do you need to throw away my boyfriend's food cause of a mistake that YOU made? (This lady made both the items mind you) and to make things even better my mexi fries were ice cold and soggy. When I asked to speak to the manager low and behold its the lady on the rail who made our food and incorrectly wrapped it. She did refund my money which was nice. However, the attitude I received was not. As a former employee I know that the wrappers are all marked and what is made should be face up EVERYTIME. It's very easy to do. So why wasn't it done? The manager's attitude was very poor. She had a very flipid demeanor to her as I tried to tell her what was wrong. I honestly felt very disrespected at a place that I frequently go out to. I still enjoy taco time very much however not this one on South Tacoma way. All the other ones are great, and this location has lost my business and that of my...
