Tacos El Tapatio — Restaurant in Lakewood

it took us almost 1 HOUR to get the food. The place is soo disorganized, workers don't know who is doing what and it causes delays. Also, they have napkins at 1 place, utensils at different and condiments at the back. So whoever puts the orders together has to go 3 places to get things for 1 order. The girl at the registry is simply overwhelmed running the registry by herself,, with getting orders from inside customers, taking phone orders and online orders. Making mistakes on orders because of the work load. Then it takes time to redo orders and the whole operation just goes down south. Watchedc1 lady tried to pay for likex10 min because of the order corrections. There were 3 people in front of us and it took 20 min just to get to the registry. Not 1 order was fulfilled, not a single person left the place with food.. We ordered and waited another 30 min for food (5 tacos). Only got the food after complained. Said that there were 5 orders in front of our with literally no one who ordered food before us in.. so maybe they give priority to phone orders, who knows but with people waiting inside for 30 min and no one coming to puck up online orders this is just bad organization of the process. This place has gone downhill. It used to be great, but last time I went they pretty much stole a taco. I ordered 4 Pastor and only got 3 and since there's a new cook it didn't taste the same. Today I thought I'd give them another chance, and it was kinda the same thing. Order 4 tacos again and this time I checked them before leaving and found 3 tacos good and just an empty tortilla on top covering them. I showed the lady and asked if this looked like 4 and it was like she didn't care. I showed my wife and she wasn't happy so I went back in and got an attitude from the cook. I told him and just asked for my money back for the tacos. I had other tacos of lengue and asada and they were cold. I will never go there again as long as that cook...

The woman who took my order was so rude. I had called to place my order today (2/26/22) in Spanish and English. When I got to the restaurant to pick up my order, she had added an additional taco. When I told her it was incorrect she said that she took my order down incorrectly because of my bad Spanish in a condescending tone. I pointed out that I also gave her my order in English and that "tres" (three) does not sound like "quatro" (four). I have been coming here since I moved to Lakewood but after this second rude encounter with this same woman, it's a no go. Too bad because their food is good but it takes...
