But I would definitely to spot light one gentleman from the Cocina. His name is Daniel unfortunately I did not catch his last name. He works in the cocina. This is apparently his first week at Northgate Markets.
Daniel though unable to speak Spanish went above and beyond his line of duty to provide us with some of the best service I have ever received. Take it from someone who never cared to write a review on Google.
Though dealing with an obvious language barrier Daniel was not at all intimidated and really took the time to fill each and every customer's order to an almost personal level. His humility to folks of all races and creeds really exemplified to me the core values of a customer service representative.
I want Northgate Markets senior management to be well aware and know that because of this young prospect you have gained a LIFE LONG customer that plans to move his shopping from a near by competitor to you.
And Daniel from the cocina we are currently eating the ceviche you suggested and long story short we are sending someone to pick up more.

Read moreCashier named Tara was absolutely inept. Unwilling to provide quality costumer service and clueless about following procedure to make the client feel satisfied with north gate market. I went there to pick up a baby shower cake and I usually do my grocery shopping at one of the Northgate Markets. I have never encountered a problem until now.
Tara refused to problem solved when me. I was sent from the bakery department to make a payment with no receipt the the cash register . Tara, the cashier, started an argument instead, claiming she was not able to help the customer since she didn't know how to handle the situation.
Cesar, the manager on duty, was called twice in order to get some assistance to handle the situation. The manager did not respond at all but instead he continued talking to a customer about a recipe. The manager demonstrating a disrespectful manner as he appeared flirtatious with the male customer.
Finally, I was able to speak with him, hoping to get some kind of support. Cesar, the manager, simply offered a non genuine "I'm sorry", showing his lack of managerial skills.

Read moreI seldom go here since prices posted often do not match what you are charged at register. Today for example Organic bananas were posted for 69 cents a pound but at register they rang up at 79 cents. This time the difference was small and the cashier corrected it but forgot to take out the original bananas. I had been charged twice for same bananas. After he said I corrected it for you and handed me receipt I looked at it and asked me to show me where the incorrectly charged bananas has been credited since I could not find the credit but could see the correct price added as produce. He could not find it so he then refunded me the money for the bananas. When I buy a larger number of items the amount I am overcharged is 6 or more dollars. Someone needs to take time to do price checks at this store. Be careful...price you see posted has not been updated in computer and you end up paying more.
