Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Lamar Heights

Your team working was short staffed (2 working inside and 2 delivery drivers) and running behind. Your team was extremely busy. I followed 3 cars into the parking lot. I opted to walk inside. Paid for my pizza. I seen what looked like my pizza getting sliced, boxed and tagged with order number and handed off. The young man running the window and register mistakenly handed it off to someone else at the drive thru window. I overheard him tell the cook about his mistake. The cook informed him that he needed to tell me what happened. The young man let me know what he had done and apologized. He then offered me a order of bread sticks or a bottle of soda. I said that I would take them both. I understand that mistakes happened. Had to wait a little longer for my pizza. Got a order of bread sticks and a soda. If that was the worst that happened to them with the craziness going on. They did good. The cook also came over and apologized for the mistake. This was a good learning experience for the young man. This is probably the worst experience I've ever had at Pizza Hut. We ordered $100+ worth of pizza and breadsticks, which would have been three pizzas and three orders of family breadsticks and some garlic cheese sticks. The waitress was really nice but just didn't care as our drinks never got refilled. Our pizza, that's a whole nother story. Three large pizzas thin crust and when they got to the table the crust was dark brown and I can already tell it was burnt. I had my 4-year-old and 1 year old with us and it's hard for little kids to eat pizza that is burnt because you know it's hard as a rock. We told the people running the place, and all that was said is I'll let them know in the back and we never heard anything else about it. My family and I came to enjoy pizza after the Lamar fair. We came and sat at the table. After sitting down the server was very hostile so we decided to get pizza to go to be less of an inconvenience. The server, Hannah, was taking our order. My family is not English speaking so I was translating for my parents. While translating the server got annoyed and stormed off behind the counter yelling for another server to come and take our order. After the new server came I asked what the name of the girl was and if the manager was here. She told me that she was the manager and gave me the name of the worker. She told me that she is just tired and wants to go home and that it has been a long day.
