Service 🙋♂️
Stepping into Hash House felt like stepping into a warm embrace. The two waitresses, Ava and another lovely lady whose name escapes me, were incredibly sweet and attentive. Despite the restaurant’s chic, city-vibe decor, the staff made us feel right at home. Their genuine hospitality and friendly service transformed our visit into a delightful experience. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Decor 🎨
Hash House is a visual delight both inside and out. The exterior boasts beautiful white walls that immediately catch the eye, while the interior is spacious with a neutral palette that exudes a modern, yet welcoming ambiance. The design feels like it could be the blueprint for the ultimate progressive brunch spot, with a layout and aesthetic that perfectly blend style and comfort. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Food 🍽️
The food at Hash House is an absolute treat, and you simply must try the “hash-it” option. As the name suggests, the hash is the star of the show. I opted for the “Wake ‘N’ Bacon,” and adding the hash took the dish to a whole new level. Every bite was packed with flavor, making it well worth the extra cost. Unfortunately, I was there for a business meeting, so I couldn’t capture the culinary masterpiece in a photo, but trust me, the taste alone is unforgettable. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
In Retrospect 🤔
Reflecting on our visit, Hash House stands out as a top-notch dining destination in Lambertville. The combination of outstanding service, stunning decor, and delicious food makes it a must-visit. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, I highly recommend stopping by Hash House for an exceptional dining experience.

First time was a few weeks ago. I checked out their menu ahead of time and they have "orange crush pancakes" made with an orange juice batter, vanilla cream and candied orange that sounds amazing. I went there intending to order this dish but they had a weekend special of Banana Foster French toast. I couldn't say "no" to that and I don't regret it. The French toast was absolutely divine. Along with it, I ordered a side of bacon and scrambled eggs and bacon. The scrambled eggs were run-of-the-mill standard dry eggs most diners serve but the bacon was THICK center-cut and delicious.
I returned today to try their orange crush pancakes, which were good but not good enough to make me want to return again soon. As with my first visit, I ordered a side of bacon and eggs. The bacon was delicious like last time and the eggs were standard.
The staff is very friendly and accommodating.
The real down-side of Hash House is the space. It's SMALL so be prepared for a wait. My first visit, I was able to score a seat at the counter as soon as I entered. But every table was occupied. Today, I had an almost 30 minute wait for a seat at the counter. It was so busy, they were even taking down names for seats at the counter. Also, because it's an incredibly small space, it is VERY loud. It also feels a tad claustrophobic.
Hopefully they will be so successful, they'll be able to move to a bigger space some day.

Read moreThe vibe was giving coffee shop that swerved food. The server sat us down quickly and briefly ran through the menu. I ordered a matcha drink from their "Boujie Drink" menu and unless you have a sweet tooth, you won't find this drink edible AT ALL. It tasted as if they melted match candy and it poured it over ice. It was the sweetest drink I've ever had and tasted nothing of matcha. To eat, I had their chicken and fries. It was a very decent portion. Unfortunately, that's the only positive thing I could say about it. The fries, although it was crunchy, were very salty. The chicken tenders were cooked nicely, but it lacked flavor. In fact, I felt like I was eating a McDonald's chicken tender meal without the crunchy breading of the tenders and their equally salty fries but at a much lower cost. My partner had their avocado benedict and again, unfortunately, it was a disappointment. The eggwhites were still runny on top which gave us the impression of an undercooked meal. The runny eggs with the fried avocado was served with nothing to soak them up with so we were "forced" to order a side of has brown. Not only that, for an additional $4, you can get it "hashed" which apparently means its mixed and chopped with bacon and other ingredients (totally overpriced and not worth the $8.)
All in all, it wasn't the best place (for me) to have gone to to have brunch. There are other local spots that I've tried that were better and won't cost an arm and a leg, but it was nice to...
