Edit: Although I have only gone a few times for lunch in the past 6 months. I haven't experienced staffing issues like I previously did.
Online order? BEWARE. No one is there! I came in with my kid at 7:50, and there was one person working. She was making a sandwich for someone, and had a friend munching on chips in the dining area. She said she was about to close (they close at 10:30pm) and wouldn't make anymore food and was leaving soon. MY real concern is that if she leaves at 8pm and no one is there, but you can still order online (I have been checking, and they will certainly let you order and pay) no one is there making your food. I like to frequent this place. There aren't many sub places on this side of town. I don't necessarily blame the girl working (altho, she could have locked the door, put up a sign, something to say they were closed). Clearly there is a lack of management if there is no one to cover shifts. The owner of this franchise must not care to employ a manager? Assistant manager? Shift manager? The prices have raised pretty high, pretty quickly, so you would think they'd be on top of staffing. Especially since It's been super busy ever since the 5 below...
Read moreSo I have to give a Shout out to everyone at this Subway in particular!!! ( Santiago, Alex, and Andrea. The customer service is so far above average it's extraordinary. They engage in conversation that makes you feel like you are a super V.I.P. and makes you want to stay a little longer. And the sub was incredible. Santiago took the time to get ir just right and toasted it twice because that was what I wanted. Alex the Manager had recommendations that made my meal a little better than the last time I had it and Andrea was certain to make sure I didn't forget anything and gave me extra napkins. I waited then an additional 30 mins for 2 subs that were ordered via mobile app and sat at my house for 15 mins till app said food was ready and I had 5 min drive and then waited 30 mins in the store. So in total waited 50 mins for 2 subs. When got home subs were not great. They were loaded with mayo and mustard that the bread was extremely soggy and falling apart.
