This location is horrible, SLOW, and rude.
I came today to pick up food for someone's birthday as a treat, as KFC is too expensive for us to have on a regular basis.
I went indoors to order and waited 7 minutes to be acknowledged. Once my order was taken I waited 10 minutes before going to the counter and asking about it. An elderly team member began getting my food out from under heat lights and slowly putting one item in a bag on one side of the counter area and then walking across the entire restaurant to get another single item, bring it back to the bag, to then go back and get another single item, and so on. At this point a younger lady, I assume the manager, asked me "what my problem was" and I explained how long I'd waited and that I'm frustrated to see I'm being served food that's been sitting under warmers this whole time when there's been no one else in the store and only 2 cars passing through the driveway. I'd have understood if I was waiting for fresh food, instead, I knew I was receiving older food. She told me it will be ready soon and then walked to the back of the kitchen and I continued to watch the older lady slowly bring one sauce packet at a time across the entire counter line to my bag.
Finally the manager came back and asked what the older lady was waiting on to finish my order and the employee said "I'm almost finished I've had everything".
When I got to the car and checked the food it was barely room temperature and the nuggets were soggy and undercooked. One of our "nuggets" actually was a huge piece connected by gristle. Needless to say the kiddo I was surprising for their birthday was disgusted and didn't eat and I wasted $25 to buy two people a horrible birthday...
Read moreWe haven't had KFC in forever. Our kids wanted some for their late Christmas present. We never go out for food. The man at the window was wonderful and did his job great and was very polite. We paid an up charge to order 12 chicken breast and added 8 biscuits on to the 16 phone piece meal. We waited patiently long for the extra chicken special order I planned too no problem there for fresh finger lick-in good chicken. Got home Chicken still hot realized out of all the buckets and boxes they didn't give us the extra biscuits we paid for. Ok well we probably didn't need the added carbs. We started to fig into the chicken and found we only received 7 of the breasts we paid alot extra for there were five tiny thighs in place of them. At least the got the four drumsticks right. Definitely the chicken and biscuits were good but our order was not right at all. We won't be back as we drove extra far to the columbia ave store in Lancaster as the granite run Dr store never has chicken seriously Kentucky fried chicken.... sorry we don't have chicken... wow just wow. I guess it is 2021 now after the great toilet paper shortage we should he surprised there is a great chicken shortage. Yeah it seemed like alot of in motivated people work there. Read moreTerrible service. Twice I went there to take advantage of the "$20 fill up bucket" special that they advertise on their website AT THIS LOCATION and also on the radio. Went through the drive-thru to order the special and was told "well, we don't have that deal because they didn't add it to our system." Wasn't offered an alternative or anything. So, basically got "bait and switch." So, I ordered the next closest deal, paying more and getting less than the "$20 fill up bucket" deal. Already annoyed due to the situation, but just wanted to get dinner and get home. During the whole time while I was ordering at the drive-thru, the young lady who was taking my order was joking around with her co-workers in the background, as I can hear her laughing loudly into the mic and saying "hahhah stoppppp!" Just no respect for customer service. When I went to pay, the cashier was about as friendly as a cactus, no greeting, no smile, no thank you. On top of it all, when I got home, I found out they didn't give me a side dish that I ordered! After notifying them on Facebook, they sent a "sorry we goofed" letter with a $5 voucher, which was a joke in itself because that would barely made up the difference with me ordering the alternative for them not having the $20 deal AND missing my side dish. And that's assuming I'll order from them again, which I won't be. What a joke...
