This place is a staple for my lancaster visits. The staff is really friendly and helpful, and the food / drinks are also great. Thanks to Kelly, Jade, and Skyler specifically for giving me a great experience. The atmosphere is very relaxing with soft music, a piano, a small library, and plenty of seating. If you’re ever in the West end of Lancaster, I’d recommend coming in for a cup of joe and a chocolate croissant!

I love the environment here. It’s quaint and comfortable! The staff was quick and friendly and the prices were fair. I like the outdoor seating and flavor of the drinks. My only issue was that the cappuccino was more like a latte and vice versa. They had little foam for the cappuccino but lots for the latte.

A nice little cafe in downtown Lancaster. They serve Passenger coffee, which is some of the best in the area. The menu is fairly small but the food is a must try. The ingredients are fresh and tasty. The only knock I have is that they have some items on their menu that are unavailable.

Ordered a grilled black bean wrap, which l have had several times before. Ordered mixed greens on the side. Owner checked me out. He was friendly but distracted. It was busy and he appeared to be training someone. He brought my drink out. Then, after a while, he came out and put the wrap on the table and walked away. I got up and asked for my mixed greens which were still sitting on the counter. The wrap was uncut, but fortunately there was a knife and fork on the plate with the mixed greens. The cheese was not melted inside the "grilled" wrap and it was BLAND. I tasted no jalapeno or lime juice (I went back and looked at the menu for the ingredients list). I was also supposed to get a side of sour cream, which was forgotten as well. I specifically went there today to get that wrap because in the past it was delicious. It was edible, but lacked any flavor. Because of the bland food, coupled with having to chase down my salad and forgetting the sour cream l think this so-so rating is generous. Very...

I’d love to be able to review the food here, but this was my third visit and the third excuse I received for not serving food. Today was my final straw, after double checking the hours and double checking social media for any changes to those hours, I went at 1:45 and was told that they were closing at 2 and therefore weren’t doing anymore food for the day. There was a sign on the door that I had missed that said they were closing early for espresso machine maintenance. That doesn’t take 2 hours (and most coffee shops just do this after hours), but more importantly I shouldn’t have to get there to find out about these changes. Had this been a fluke or my only negative experience I wouldn’t be writing this, but it’s always something.

Giving more than one star because the employees have all been pleasant. But I’m done trying to get...

Absolutely love Chestnut Hill Cafe and I often meet people here to talk about some business things. It's cozy and local and I love that it is a small business here in Lancaster. The space always has room for folks to sit indoors and outdoors. There's plenty of spaces and you're welcome to have your pup join you outside. The coffee is delicious and the service is fast. There's always a beautiful array of tasty treats in the case and there is a small menu to choose from as well. It is pretty busy but never too busy to stop in. Parking sometimes can be tricky, but it's never a deterrent. This is usually one of the first places that I choose to visit and meet for a quick meeting and...
