Gabriela Menjivar - I ordered the tripleta. I never try to take other peopleās opinions into account until I, myself can form one of my own based off of personal experience.
When I am unsure of how something is prepared I google image search the item. I personally recommend. I also fear it is common knowledge that a tripleta (traditionally) has 3 meats, potato sticks, lettuce, tomato, onion.
As a customer it is our responsibility and our right to report back to any business that we put our hard earned money towards - with that being said you had the complete opportunity at the time of this event to have your problem acknowledged. You say they were sitting in there, so if you could see them, they couldāve definitely seen you, no? I can confidently confirm that you did not make an effort to get your sandwich remade, because the owners of this store have empathy and compassion for the field they work in and for their business, and most importantly their customers - therefore they would have come to a compromise with you in regards to a bad experience at La Cajita.
For you to try and tear apart a small, family owned and RUNNED business speaks volume when you had the opportunity at hand to confront the issue .
The last comment I have to make is in regards to the staff eating. Since when is it āunprofessionalā for being a human being? It was the end of a long day, a long shift, and for the store owners that work full time at their store (which may I add not many business owners do so) it was the end of a long, long, long work week.
Your review speaks volume. I donāt know your story, but what I do know is that you are a very special type of individual that holds no empathy for others. Father-more if youāve never worked customer service - you do not have an opinion in work ethic.
As for any customers reading this review - I hope you all are enjoying La Cajita as much as I, and many others in the community do! And thank you all for supporting this very new and...
Read moreThis is not just another Spanish restaurant in Lancaster, PA (Puerto Rican to be exact). I always love a good café. La Cajita was a breath of fresh air. The ingredients in the sandwiches and the taste of the latte was refreshing and satisfying! The staff was pleasant and very inviting. They even offered snacks and refreshments that they wanted critiques on to add to their already amazing menu. What you'll get here is Puerto Rican hospitality and a full belly! The sandwiches are huge for the price point, but I'm not compaining! I have extra for lunch tomorrow. My favorite sandwich was the bistec. They also have hotdogs as well. Definitely will try them...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām not saying this food changed my life⦠but I might have seen heaven. The flavor? Calling it āgoodā is an insult ā itās an explosion of culinary genius in every bite. The quality? Impeccable. Premium. Probably hand-delivered by angels. And the value? Honestly, they could charge double and Iād still say itās a steal.
Now⦠the smoothie? DEAR. SWEET. EVERYTHING. Itās so good I nearly cried. Itās not just flavorful ā itās a tropical symphony in a cup. Whoever made it deserves a raise, a trophy, and maybe a parade.
This place? A total disaster ā a flavor disaster, because your taste buds will never recover. An absolute must for any foodie...
