I know I say ~friendly~ a lot in my reviews when referring to staff, but the person who helped me here was exceptional. Great service, but not only that the Italian sub was also great. I love that that ask you if you want mayo or not. There’s a seriously huge collection of beer here. You’d have a hard time not finding something that looks intriguing. There’s a small games? gambling? corner in one of the dinning areas. If you’re not into that there is a different area with a tv. Parking lot is a little small and can be interesting to get in and out of. Don’t let that scare you away though. They said the cheeseburger sub is popular. Gunna try that next time!

Embarking on a Culinary Odyssey at the Friendly Greek Bottle Shop in Lancaster, PA 🇬🇷🍻: This hidden gem blends warm hospitality with an extensive selection of Greek beers and spirits. The knowledgeable staff guides you through a flavorful journey, offering insights into the rich history behind each bottle. From crisp Assyrtiko to robust reds, the curated collection caters to both enthusiasts and those eager to explore Hellenic tastes. The inviting ambiance, coupled with a diverse array of libations, makes this spot a must-visit for anyone seeking a taste of Greece in the heart of Lancaster. Service was ok. Shop isn't big but the selection is huge! So many great choices, it was hard to leave with just two beers. They had food too, didn't get to try it this time. I will be back and try to get through the massive selection!! Anyone looking for something new, this is the place to go.

I've been going to The Friendly Greek since I was 21. The staff right at this moment they're very good staff the customers seem to be pretty cool. They have great food my 4 out of 5 stars is based upon an experience that I had probably about 5 years ago. We had gotten a delivery from them and the delivery driver was extremely rude he was told to call when he got here and instead of calling stood there for 5 minutes. When he finally called and we went downstairs to get our food he gave us nothing but an attitude said that the Friendly Greek did not pay his cell phone bill so he did not have to use it if you didn't want 2 and then stood there after being completely disrespectful and then asked us for a tip. I'm a delivery driver I've never done that in my life and never would he was told to leave and that's the last time we have ever gotten...

Ever since we moved into Lancaster City, this has been our stomping ground and I'll be sad the day we move away! Staff is awesome and down-to-earth, and they're helpful when you ask questions. This is coming from someone who has social anxiety.

Food is okay when you need a quick bite but not worth drooling over, but I can't say I've had a bad meal. The fried pickles are aaawwwessome.

I docked a star because bathrooms a tad gross, prices are a little higher; and they frequently USE THE ENDS OF OVER RIPE TOMATOES THE WORST OF CRIMES. If that bothers you, ditch tomatoes on salads and sandwiches. But I can't give less than 4 stars because I love The Friendly Greek.

(Also they host a lot of tastings, have good stuff on tap that constantly rotates, and recently added slushies! What's...

Their food may be ok if you eat it there. If you get anything hot for take out you will have a soggy mess to eat when you get home. They wrap their hot subs in paper, which sticks to the roll, then foil and finally butcher paper. You now have a steamed sub. Hot food like french fries and chicken tenders are put in Styrofoam boxes to sweat. Fries are like noodles when you open the box. You'd think people would have complained about the wet food and by now Friendly Greek should have discovered what happens to the food when it's steamed to death. The size of the subs leaves something to be desired as well, like more of it. For the prices they charge I'll just stay home and eat a couple hot dogs and I won't give them a steam bath before I eat...
