Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Lancaster

I normally don't leave reviews for places too often, let alone fast food places, but I was pleasantly surprised with this Sonic. The food was genuinely the best Sonic food that I've had in a long time. My boyfriend and I travelled to this Sonic after taking our dog to the vet down the road, and needed to stop in for something to eat. We had a pretty big order, and included a pup-cup for our dog. We ordered on the console and the lady was very nice (I think her name was Stephanie? Thank you for being patient with us!!). When our food came out, within a very reasonable time considering our order, we were greeted with everything packaged up nicely. Everything we had ordered fit neatly into a tray box, which also surprised me considering the amount of food we had gotten. All of our food was cooked to absolute perfection (I know this sounds crazy, but genuinely this food was that perfect). I had experienced burnt hamburger buns or burnt corndogs, which I was kinda expecting. We ended up finishing our meal after some time, and I expressed that I wanted to leave a 5-star review because of how well of an experience we had had. I currently live in the outskirts of Monroe (about 25 min drive from this location), and will seek out coming to this location more often solely based on the friendliness and how well the food was prepared. 100/10 :)

Had EMS called while sitting here trying to enjoy my meal. My and my passengers heads being down looking at our phones essentially meant to them that maybe we were on drugs. We saw the employees walking back and forth staring at us with no idea what was going on. And we were parked right in front!!! They could see us inside. Never once did they check on us to see if maybe we had ODd right in front on them or to see if there was a medical emergency other than chocking on the barely edible food. One good thing is that the ems workers laid into the employees for doing this to us as well as the courteous officer. I am still in shock over this. Literally could not enjoy the over cooked tater tots that were hard barely warm as though the fry oil was overdue for a change, or the burger that was put together so messy with the meat crispy as though it has been in a warming drawer all day, but then the horror of EMS and officers rolling up while you're eating, I mean jeez. Sonic of Lancaster SC what is the problem??? Not even one employee came to speak to us to actually see if there was a medical emergency, instead of'attacking' us mid meal with the onslaught of an obvious misuse or services that would have been used better elsewhere. This was an embarrassing and humiliating episode that they were lucky it did not trigger a relapse of my REAL disease-NMO neuromyelitis Optica. It's infuriating,...

Well first of all I placed my order online so when I was in the drive thru waiting to pick up my order the girl at the window actually gave it to the car in front of me and they gave it back and she went out of sight for a few minutes and then came out the side door and handed me a bag I asked her if that was my food that she just gave to the car in front of me and she said it was and I told her I did not want it so she assured me that while she was in the back that it was being re made which was a lie because I called back over there and told them about the hard crunchy tater tots and cold fries and about my food going to the car in front of me and the girl saying it was all made fresh after that and the person on the phone said they didn't know why she said that because it wasn't true but if I would bring it back they would make it fresh so I go back and they give me hot tater tots and fries I wouldn't exactly say fresh they were still hard and crunchy but long story short in the end I got hot TT and FF but that's all they replaced so by then the Cheeseburgers were ice cold. Before this I had always liked the food but I think this time probably done it for me not sure if I will be going...
