Home cooked meals that feel just like eating at moms house included with waiting for your mom to actually cook the food.

Food is tasty and decently priced, but the service and wait times along with location are debbie downers for this one.

Normally, I like to go out of my way to support local businesses and restaurants. But when dealing with such a competitive market service is a big deal, with that said let's begin ...

Upon arrival there is virtually NO parking. The diner (not really big enough to call it a restaurant) has maybe 4 - 6 parking spots total in front of it otherwise you have to try to find parking in the neighborhood and walk to the restaurant. So if you are going to dine in, please be advised that parking is extremely limited.

Once you get inside ... there are maybe a total of 10 tables so beware that seating is limited too.

I placed a medium sized order over the phone at 11:30AM for a 12:30PM pick-up. I arrived at approx. 1pm to pick-up (running behind 30 mins late I figured the order would be waiting for me by now) and paid for my order. I saw several bags lined up so I presumed one of those would be our order. Nothing. I asked the cashier and didn't get much of a response with regards to how much longer the wait would be or the status of the order. FINALLY, got my order another 15 minutes later and asked the cashier that if we ordered 1 hour ahead how much time would be required for the order to actually be ready for pick-up so that I know for any future orders to call well in advance. Her response was that they are really busy and they never know when orders will be ready. So even if you call 2 hours in advance your order may or may not be ready.

Ultimately, the food is good and the prices are fair. However parking, location, limited seating, extremely long wait times, and no customer service are what you can expect. For the price and quality of the food you can easily find other taco spots worth your...

A really awesome local dive! Im a big foodie and I love authentic food. This is not the americanized version where they douse everything in cheese and refried beans!

My co-worker and I came here for lunch one day and we each ordered a $5 burrito and 1 taco each ($2.50). When we sat down we got confused because the paper menu said the burritos were $10+, but the chalkboard said $5. The food came and the burritos were quite large (think chipotle size). Needless to say the extra tacos were unnecessary, but we finished them. We were both stuffed by the time we were done.

When we went up to the register to pay (separately), my co-workers bill came out to be $16 (with tax)....we were both like whoa, those burritos must be the $10+ like the menu says! However, when I went to pay for my meal, the cashier indicated that the $16 was for both of our meals! Unbelievable! The amount of food that we got for $16...a real bargain..and much better than any other mexican/latin american food I've had since being in the DC area!

Oh also, you get chips with your meal when you eat in the restaurant...and the restaurant has a salsa bar....a...

Food was good, but the service was trash. I was dining in The waitresses paid me, No attention. Let me let you also know this is the totally Spanish speaking restaurant because I didn't speak Spanish. They paid me no mind. I sat at the table. I seen four different dine-in customers come in sit down and get greeted with a hello and a full of chips while they sit at table waiting on their food. I sat at my table looking and waiting for my chips and never received them. I had to get up and tell the lady that I was dining in and when was I going to get some chips? I had been there for over 15 mins. My food came out in carry in container even though I told them I was dining in at their restaurant. They still packaged my food to leave while everyone else got served with a smile at their table. No less than 3 minutes of them entering the establishment. I left No tip and will not be back. My personal belief if they see you and disregard you. That's the same way they will do what the quality of your food. They have an air conditioning that dripped in my table no stop, I had to move the table out the way so it didn't drip on my...
