We came here a year ago and had the most amazing experience! The bartender was wonderful and the food was amazing. So much so that being from an hour and a half away we've talked all year about coming back when we were in the area. We came in tonight, and were basically ignored the entire time. The worst service I've had. Sat down and waited 15 minutes trying to get a menu, tried to ask the bartender for one and she rudely told the wife to wait for the waitress. We were charged 3.50 each for sodas and never offered a single refill. I asked the waitress multiple times for the Cole slaw that was supposed to come with my meal and never got it. We finished eating and were stuck waiting there for another 20 minutes trying to get the bill. Again, tried to ask the bartender and she refused. Had to get our own boxes and chase the waitress down for the bill because we felt so uncomfortable in there and just wanted to leave. Coincidence that we're the only obviously queer couple in the place? Waitress sure seemed to like chatting with the other customers. Obviously not...
Read moreI went here because I saw good reviews by local people on the food groups. I cannot disagree more. I ordered a steak and baked potato. It came with side salad and Texas toast, which were the only edible parts of the meal. Potato was undercooked. Steak was cooked correctly, however it was more like a slab of roast than a sirloin. It was a thick triangle piece of meat and it was so tough I had to saw through it with the knife. Very peculiar.
We did also order the queso. The chips were too greasy and my partner noted they tasted stale.
Also, while our main server seemed professional, there was another one who waited on us who was VERY unprofessional. She was loud, used foul language (not a big issue for me but combined with the other things she was saying) and was loudly talking about fighting someone.
We probably won't be back. Mostly due to the poor...
Read morePretty typical local dive bar, which isn’t a bad thing. The food was good and VERY fairly priced, and my tater tots were VERY well done, as requested, which I appreciate.
Good classic English rock playlist on rotation, or at least when I was in. The music was pretty loud, which doesn’t bother me and I could still talk, but might bother some people.
Only minor complaint is that I asked for tomatoes on my wrap, which they forgot, but I still got charged for it. I can’t complain too much about fifty cents, and I was so hungry that I didn’t bother with it.
At any rate, the wrap didn’t LOOK that big, but that was BEFORE it expanded in my stomach. I was FULL.
So maybe just keep that in mind if you’re trying out the place.
The waitress was also very nice and pleasant.
Next time I’ll try out one of their burgers and see if they really are the best...
