To the jerks talking bad about sonic, just so you know, they have new owners. Anything that has to be fried, like, fries, tots, cheddar peppers, mozzarella sticks, chicken strips, crispy asiago, etc. Those all take more than three minutes to fry. They rarely have any foods on hold because they don't want to hand out old food. Yes, the customer service sucks. And they're working on it. I promise. This store is going through a lot of changes now that they have owners who actually care about this place. The old owners didn't care how bad off it was. The new ones are doing everything and anything they can to fix this place up. The dining room was scrubbed for over three hours, every day, for a week. It isn't their fault that people track in mud since it has been snowing and raining. I'd love to see some of you work in a place that has uncaring owners. Realize that every store and restaurant has a backstory. Behind the poor or good service, and behind the good food or bad food, is management that either doesn't care, or actually wants to see this place strive for the greater good. Trust me. There's worse places to eat. You know. Like McDonald's. At least sonic food is fresh off of the grill and out of the fryer. October 22, 2023 I placed my order at the kiosk and paid.
15 minutes turns into 25 minutes so I hit the button again “Your food is coming”
Another 15 minutes and a manager comes out “You never got your order?”
I told them no, that I wanted a refund and left.
I have called the store twice, no refund.
I have called corporate, no refund.
We are now at December 3rd and I still cannot get them to tell me more than my refund request is being declined?!?
I am sure glad I work hard to give my money away to companies like this, I’m sure they put it to good use like employee wage increases and community charity right?!
Update: 12/21/2023. Called the store again and the manager hung up on me, this is a terrible way to operate a business.
Sonic won’t be on our menu ever again, dishonesty has a bad aftertaste.
Update: 12/30/2023. Called corporate again only to be told there isn’t much they can do.
Filed the transaction as fraudulent and filed a BBB claim.
Update: 3/3/2024
Both the store and corporate have ignored my requests for a refund.
We are done, will never visit ANY Sonic nationwide after this experience.

Read moreIf I could it would be a negative star. The incompetence is astounding. To begin with I placed a mobile order at 4:45pm. It was 3 things, burger chilli cheese tots and a soda. I got there at 4:50 and waited. After about 5 minutes I'm told "drive-through" that's it. No other communication. I go to the drive through. I tell John 2x that it's a mobile order, i wait 10 minutes at the window before going back to the speaker to be told again "drive-through". After an additional 5 minutes John comes to the window with a cold burger and tots and a melted soda. I ask for them to be remade since they were sitting out for over 35 minutes. I get back a soggy cold in the center burger and gross dehydrated chilli tots. Despite all this nonsense I felt like I ought to give him the benefit of doubt being there alone.
