I hadn't been here in a while, and after today I remember why. I ordered "Burger tacos" just out of curiosity. And let me tell you, don't bother. The only good thing about this plate was the Burger patty, which didn't go well with the undercooked flour tortilla. Not to mention the sad excuse for fries these people sell. They were soggy and lukewarm. But I blame the way they were cut. The plate also came with insipid, unseasoned and cold refried beans. I should have asked for a refund, but the owner didn't seem like the friendly kind. The other disappointment was the "horchata" they serve. It Just tastes like rice water, no sugar no cinnamon. Just don't bother with this place. I'm sorry, but all these restaurant owners, skimping out on their businesses, then they are surprised they end up shutting down because of lack of customers! It's laughable if it wasn't so expensive to eat at these "restaurants". And who serves chips with no salsa?!?!? It's ridiculous! Not coming back here. And neither should you. Demand better and take care of your hard earned money.

The food here is fresh and a very friendly service. Plenty of parking. The tortas are excellent but they have tacos too. Highly recommend

I usually always go to “Lonche Popo “ but they were close (i didn’t know they close Monday’s ) so I tried this place. It was pricey so I expected a well done meal. The meat itself was too dry and the jalapeńos looked like if they were bitten. I asked for beans on them since that’s how they do it on lonche de popo and they gave me a nasty beans like I already didn’t like the meat since it was too dry and now the beans were bad too like no mms . Maybe they didn’t know what kind of beans to put? Idk but I didn’t even finish my food after I saw the jalapeño since you never know what happened. It wasn’t just 1 jalapeño it was 2 🫠. Never coming...

I recommend El Padrino No. 1 to anyone who wants an authentic Mexican meal! I’ve had the combo #3 (ternera tacos, homemade fries like my mom used to make when I was a kid, refried beans, a salad and even includes a drink!) Can’t beat that for $12–tax included. The food, service and atmosphere is excellent 😊 try it out, you will love it! I’m sure other menu items are delicious as well. I will go back and try...
