A Flavorful Experience at Fusion Sushi North – Leos Roll & Spicy Edamame
Fusion Sushi North in Laredo delivers a bold and satisfying experience with their Leos Roll and Spicy Edamame, both of which showcase the perfect balance of flavor, texture, and presentation.
The Leos Roll is an indulgent combination of tempura shrimp, eel, cream cheese, and avocado, topped with fresh salmon and served with a side of Tampico. Each bite delivers a contrast of crispy tempura, creamy avocado, and rich eel, all complemented by the smoky depth of salmon. The Tampico side adds a creamy and slightly spicy kick that enhances the roll’s complexity.
On the appetizer side, the Spicy Edamame is a must-try for spice lovers. Tossed in soy sauce and togarashi chili powder, the dish is bold, savory, and just the right amount of heat to wake up the palate. The umami-packed sauce coats the edamame beautifully, making it a flavorful and addictive starter.
Overall, Fusion Sushi North continues to impress with high-quality ingredients and an elevated take on classic sushi flavors. Whether you’re a sushi lover or just looking for a great spot to enjoy Japanese fusion cuisine, this place is definitely worth a visit.

Read moreThis place is a hit or miss. The service was very good. There were three other tables and three different waiters came in and asked in everything was ok. Food portions are very generous. I tried the fried rice yakimeshi. It was a huge portion and had nice plating. The downside was the lack of flavor. It was very bland only after dousing it with soy sauce and jalapeños was the plate somewhat palatable. We also ordered the chicken Alfredo, don’t judge kids will be kids. Again a very healthy portion but Alfredo sauce lacked flavor. We also ordered the egg rolls and the same lack of flavor though they seemed more of the frozen kind rather than fresh. The stars of the meal was the finca roll. It had a seared/smoked salmon that was not overpowering but it defined the roll. Second place was the Monterrey roll. This was also packing flavor with the roll wrapped in thinly sliced chicken. All in all like i said hit or miss for this place. Very good service and large portions but some food was...
